We went on Father's Day. They still had a Happy Mother's Day sign up. The place was empty, and looks like it might have been a cool place with music, because lights were moving everywhere ... silently.
I counted at least 4 people working, yet it took 20 minutes to get our drinks. 15 minutes after we ordered our food, and told it would only be 25 minutes, the waitress returned to tell me that they were out of what I ordered. I asked what would be the fastest thing, since it's already been so long. She suggested a cheese quesadilla, which I relunctantly agreed do. After being there 45 minutes, we realized we would not make our movie on time if we stayed longer - our chips and salsa weren't even out yet! If I believed the food would've been out in the next few minutes, we would've just waited - but I could clearly see no activity in the kitchen... and they couldn't throw some chips in a basket in less than 45 minutes. After the waitress made sure to inform me it wasn't her fault, it was the kitchen's, we paid $40 for 2 mediocre drinks and 2 sodas for kids and left.
As others have noted - the menu is very pricey. I can't comment on if the food is worth it - but the whole place looks like someone added a few nice decorations to a trashed building. I won't be going back.
Delicious food (The Ceviche was amazing!), fun atmosphere, and our wonderful waitress Jennifer was fantastic!
.I think they changed ownership , we were the only customers that was a little odd for a restaurant on a weekend during peak hours. But the food was good, a little overpriced for the menu. We were looking for a Cuban restaurant, but the menu was missing a lot of Cuban staples.
It is hard to find good Cuban food in the Wake Forest area. Casa Cubana has solid food, but I mark it down a star for price to serving size combination could be better.
First time at this place. Jonathan and his family are very welcoming and friendly. My waitress Zucaina was very attentive and accommodating. I had the Cuban Chino, WOW! QUE RICO PANA.....
The beat mofongo ever!!!
Very bad restaurant, I never recommend it

The menu is a true celebration of flavors. Each dish, from classics like roast suckling pig, ropavieja and tostones, to more contemporary delicacies, reflects a commitment to authenticity and the use of fresh ingredients. Their mojitos, prepared with a perfect balance of mint and rum, are the ideal complement to any meal.

Visiting this restaurant was an exceptional experience. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a warm smile and impeccable service. The atmosphere of the place is cozy, with modern decoration but with details that make you feel at home.
The food was, without a doubt, the highlight. I tried several dishes and each one of them was an explosion of flavor. The balance between presentation and quality of ingredients is impeccable.

Casa Cubana is a culinary gem that perfectly captures the essence and authentic flavors of Cuban cuisine. From the moment you enter, you are surrounded by a warm and welcoming atmosphere, with a decoration that transports you directly to Havana.
The food is spectacular: the dishes are full of flavor, well presented and with fresh ingredients. I especially recommend the classic Ropa Vieja and the tostones, which are simply unbeatable. Plus, the portions are generous, and the prices are fair for the quality offered.
The service is exceptional: the staff is attentive, friendly and always willing to explain each dish if you are not familiar with Cuban cuisine. To close with a flourish, you can't miss a good mojito or a Cuban coffee.

I'm not sure what happened to this place, but the food, service, and atmosphere were simply bad. (Under new ownership??) I'm not an impatient person, but we (table of 4, Tuesday evening around 6p) waited 30 minutes for the appetizers to appear, and then another 30 minutes for entrees. The waitress was not overly friendly, talkative, or welcoming. She seemed preoccupied, but there was only 1 other party in the restaurant during our visit. The steak dish I ordered was just not good. A VERY tough cut of meat, paired with dried out rice and black beans which the waitress forgot to bring out. I really don't like to complain, and I'm not a picky eater, but this really was not a good experience at all. Of the other 3 people in my party, only 1 received an entree they enjoyed. On top of it all, they charged an 18% "service" fee. I'm sorry, but we will not be dining there again.
