I had the opportunity to work with Catering Works and they were so professional, on-time, more than willing to go the extra mile and so much more. The food was AMAZING and some of the best wedding food I’ve ever had. The people were great to work with and even helped us break down the event when that wasn’t their responsibility. 10/10 would recommend to any brides or wedding planners!
We used Catering Works for a video shoot in Raleigh. Nicole was amazing to work with and accommodated all allergies and restrictions. The delivery crew was very talented and set everything up with care. Our crew LOVED the food. On top of that, the prices were very fare. Wish every caterer was like this!!
We absolutely love working with Catering Works! Their professionalism, staff, and flexibility aren't just qualities that our team enjoys, but our clients do as well. Looking forward to the many events they have coming up at our venue!
I would highly recommend Catering Works. We worked with Hollie who was always organized and professional. She was great at reviewing details and making sure we had everything we needed. Our big day went off flawlessly with the food and staff. Throughout the reception, our guests repeatedly mentioned how good the food was. When one of our guests had trouble due to the heat, one of the Catering Works staff responded empathetically and kindly with water and a cool cloth. I cannot say enough positive things about our experience.
Catering Works was the perfect vendor choice for our wedding day! The food was absolutely delicious, and beyond that, the service was INCREDIBLE!! We received so much positive feedback about the great food and service from our guests. We appreciate Kelli for all of her hard work in getting our menu and invoice finalized well before the wedding. She was very responsive to our questions! Finally, David (one of the servers) was a complete HIGHLIGHT of our wedding day—this man is a STAR!!!! He followed us closely with a tray of fresh snacks and drinks, politely offering it to us during any break we were able to get! He was attentive, conscientious, and so incredibly kind! While we were impressed with Catering Works throughout the entire planning process, the service we received on our wedding day would easily cause us to use them again for any future events we may have!
We were exceedingly happy with Cateringworks for our company retirement party. Kayla was our contact there - excellent communicator sharing info, answering questions and helping with thoughtful changes. The catering staff at the 100+ peopled event were very professional. Angela, the lead, was spot-on with everything - checking in to confirm times, offering any assistance, and getting the AMAZING food out. Her staff were all friendly and great at timing. They all made our event a memorable experience!
Catering Works did an outstanding job catering our nonprofit event for 150 people. No detail was overlooked, the food was outstanding, and the entire staff was friendly and helpful to all our guests. I recommend them without hesitation!
One of the best decisions we made for our wedding was hiring Catering Works. From beginning to end, the process was seamless, the staff were positive and enjoyable to work with, and the food was phenomenal. We reached out about a year ahead of our wedding and worked with Kelly the whole way. We were planning our wedding from NYC, so we had to coordinate trips for tastings. When the weather was not in our favor and our flights were cancelled, Catering Works made it easy to reschedule and find new times to do our tastings. They even made sure my dad could pick up our first tasting to go when our second trip was delayed. When it came time for our tasting, we thoroughly enjoyed everything and had very little notes. Their chefs are fantastic! Catering Works handled all the food and drinks for our wedding including an open bar, cocktail hour, dinner, cake, other desserts, and late night food. We added the late night food two weeks ahead of the event and there was no issue with the late addition. It was easy to customize everything to our liking and pricing was transparent. The night of the wedding, everything was seamless. The food was fantastic. Our guests were raving about the food for weeks after our wedding. We had an outdoor cocktail hour and dinner. The staff passed out food during the cocktail hour while my husband and I finished out pictures. When we finally got to sit down at our table, they brought us plates of all the appetizers and saved extras in case we wanted more. Dinner was served right on time and all our guests dietary restrictions were met with ease. We received rave reviews from the vegan options that were made available to those who needed them. Staff even made sure to take special care of our guests who were fasting for religious reasons during cocktail hour and prioritized getting their dinner to them promptly. The bars were open all night and the bartenders also received rave reviews from our guests. Drinks were made quickly and guests were never thirsty. There were also staff dedicated to my husband and I to make sure our needs were met and we never waited in line. We were even able to point out VIP guests (i.e. our parents) who should also receive extra special treatment to avoid lines and access the highest quality liquor (we were able to customize exactly the amount of and type of liquor we wanted to offer). The cake was DELICIOUS! We had a small round cutting cake for photos and a large flat sheet cake that they cut in the back before serving to guests. It was significantly more cost effective to purchase the cake this way instead of ordering a huge round cake for 200 guests. Catering Works worked with us without issue to make sure we got the cake we wanted for the guests we had without breaking the bank. The late night food was a huge hit and a surprise for our guests. The photos we have of guests ravaging the french fry bar are some of our favorites. My husband and I missed the late night food and Catering Works made sure to send us home with a plate of everything we missed. I still dream about the apple pie and the chicken and waffle bites.I would 1000% recommend Catering Works for your event. The staff are amazing, the food is phenomenal, and the service from planning to the end of your event is top tier.
We absolutely loved working with Kayla at Catering Works for our July 2023 wedding! She was so responsive to all of our questions. She was so flexible with everything. We wanted a salmon entree for our buffet that was originally on the plated option menu, and Kayla happily made it work for our buffet. I still dream about that salmon - it was so good! Our guests raved about all of the delicious food. We even got boxes of food for us to take home after the wedding. We were happily eating our leftover catering for a couple of days after our wedding. We highly recommend Catering Works!!
We worked with Catering Works via Karissa and Kelli to provide appetizers, drinks and a plated dinner for our NCMA wedding. They were very responsive and helpful during the planning process, and everything went perfectly the day of the wedding! The servers and bartenders were very kind and professional during the event as well. The food was delicious – we selected the pesto chicken, beef filet, and mushroom risotto as our main entree options. We received a number of compliments from our guests, including "this is the best wedding food I've ever had!" We also appreciated the opportunity to attend a public tasting, plus an intimate private tasting to inform our selections. Thanks for everything; I highly recommend working with this company!

We had the pleasure of working with Hollie through the whole process. Catering Works was an amazing caterer for our wedding. From our first meeting, Hollie was so easy to work with and helped us through each step of the process. We enjoyed our tasting ahead of the event so much. Before our wedding, we had all the information we needed and Hollie was quick to answer any questions we had. She was patient and professional. She did an excellent review ahead of the wedding. The day of, everything went so smoothly. The entire catering staff was excellent. Eric was a rockstar and was there to help with anything we needed. Our guests were so impressed with the food. We are proud to recommend Catering Works time and time again. Hollie-- thank you!
We had the pleasure of working with Kelli to plan our wedding catering. She was quick to respond and gave us great suggestions about the menu. On the day of, David took incredible care of us, bringing us beer and cheese while we took wedding photos and making sure we always had food when we were sitting down. We did not get a chance to schedule a tasting (due to our own time constraints) but the food was all delicious! Thank you Catering Works!
CateringWorks was the first quote that we sought and we went with them because they seemed to be unphased by our food budget and size of wedding. They gave us a pretty simple "we can do that!" and the first quote looked how it needed to look. We had recently been to a wedding catered by Rocky Top who we felt failed to reach guests with apps- so, out of process of elimination of the two most reputable catering companies, we went with CateringWorks and signed that first quote.CateringWorks was entirely deceitful throughout our wedding planning. The following deceptive business practices are likely intentional:We were told we got a discount if we used their bakery, floral, and catering triplex. While we didn't want a cake and had no intention of doing a cake cutting, we agreed as we felt that this "discount" would offset the cost of the cake anyways. We came to learn that this discount was not a real thing, but not until the final vendor meeting. We did not like one of our meal selections at the tasting and asked to look at the catalogue to find something in the similar price range to replace it with. We were told that this information "is available online". ....What? I'm writing you a 20k check and you can't go upstairs and print me a copy so we can get this done and over with? Having sources available to make quick and informed decisions will cost them, so they... make sure the information you're looking for is harder to find.If you opt in to also use either BloomWorks or their bakery service, the quotes get intentionally jumbled on one merged contract. This is deceptive. If you have enough time on your hands to go line by line, you'll see that each new printed quote has new line items and costs. As a seasoned legal compliance technical writer, this complicates the ease in comparing quotes between updates even for someone who is paid to do this all day. There is a 0% chance that CateringWorks can't afford contract software, so I'd call this deceptive as well. Make sure you're keeping your own paper record as once they update each contract/quote, the last one *disappears*. How cute and convenient.I was frustrated to see that all fees in our final quote were doubled since we used both BloomWorks and CateringWorks- this included a 20% service fee and new delivery fee despite coming from the same building. This came to nearly an extra surprise $3k. I was told that there are a separate slew of fees because CateringWorks and BloomWorks are "two separate companies". A quick search on google shows that they operate under one singular EIN (tax ID number), meaning that they actually are the same company and are taxed that way accordingly. The quotes/contracts use conveniently vague terminology and undefined terms. Contracts should always have defined terms in them, if they're real lol. The "service fee" of $1500 described as "transportation costs, staffing fees, kitchen fees" appeared as $500 on the next print and was suddenly described as "the fee's we pay the food and floral distributors". LOL- those are wildly different definitions under the same vague title, but I obviously didn't make this a thing cause I was spared $1k here.CateringWorks manager Kelly and her staff delivered exactly what was defined in our contract without any issue. We cannot say enough good things about how skillful florist EW is. He is wonderful to work with and makes time for things that are important to you. We laughed a lot with him and appreciated his personality. The food was delicious though, but nothing tastes that good after you've been punked for the last 8 months. If your wedding is budgetless and you don't care when people deceive you, use CateringWorks. Ours *kind of* was budgetless, so all of this hurt *less*, but I still have adverse reactions to deceitful business. $20k is a big bill for a company who quite simply doesn't keep it real.
Catering Works catered my wedding on April 1st and they did a fantastic job from start to finish! From when we first reached out to the week of the wedding, Kelli was always quick to respond to all of our questions, and such a delight to work with! She was so patient, kind, and helpful when it came to crafting the perfect menu, and she was flexible when we wanted to make menu changes along the way. She and her team showed patience and determination with setting up the space on the wedding day- it was an insanely windy day, so I know there was a lot of setting and re-setting, but they worked hard and did everything with a smile! They were well staffed and professional, and the food was delicious and displayed beautifully. Kelli did a great job of relaying the timeline and event details to her team, and the team was on top of it! The food service was punctual and smooth, and they had great team members like Rebecca that day checking on us (bride & groom) throughout the evening to make sure we were well taken care of. My guests told me how great their bartenders were too- one guest even said the bartender knew her drink order by the end of the night- that’s truly fabulous service! I highly recommend hiring Catering Works to cater your next special event! (In terms of our food recs, we looooved the French Grazing table and would absolutely recommend! It was a big hit for cocktail hour! The other big hit our guests were raving about were the Pinot Braised Short Ribs which we had at one of our dinner stations!) Everything was fabulous! Thank you Catering Works!
