The concept of "Build Your Burger" is great; I love it.The folks are very friendly and even around lunch time were fast, I barely had to wait.My issue, and I know I may get flak for it, is the flavor of the burgers. When I chomp on a char-grill burger and close my eyes, can I tell it's special, taste slightly burned edges, get char-grill flavor? Nope.I know CG is an institution, but for me the lust-factor – "I'm full, but I could eat another one" – is just not there.

Great food , prices are kinda of expensive but in this day in age what else is new . I am glad we still have something that is part of old Raleigh that has not been torn down to put up something new.

I’m about to be an oversized load after devouring that 1/2 lb burger. It was so finger licking good they put KFC to shame. 10/10 recommend if you want a delicious meaty burger.

The Grinder
I can not say enough about The Grill. I am 58 now and been going there since i was 13. We moved out of state a few years ago and on a recent trip back, we made sure to go. You have to go to Hillsborough (the original), you just do. I would give up my wife's cat if they built one here in Indiana. Its my favorite burger of anywhere that i have ever been. Always ordered the same thing and it never disappoints.

This place was recommended by a young lady from the old mill that me family and I visited while we were in town for my daughter's soccer tournament. So we gave it a shot and we were all glad we did. WOW, best burgers I have had outside of home ever! Thank
