I have lived in Raleigh for 12 years before I tried Char-Grill, and it is the best!! You are not going to find a fresher burger and the shakes are amazing!! Did I mention how cheap it is??? It’s about half the cost of Five Guys and it’s way better!!

Char-Grill is a hometown original. The Strickland road location features indoor and outdoor seating, but most of the other locations only have outdoor seating. The ordering system is unique and the 50’s theme (music and decor) make this an entertaining dining experience. Great stop when you are hungry and only a cheeseburger will do!

Old school feel, yummy food, amazing music and family friendly. What more can you ask for! Also, I love the way you get to order your food here, fill out a slip and send it through the order window and then you get to watch your food being cooked and then they call your name to come get your food.
Parking: There is plenty of parking in the front of the char-grill and on the side.

Y'all, this here's our go-to spot for a darn tootin' quick and mighty fine hot dog or hamburger. The food is always hot off the grill, makin' sure it arrives blazin' hot. The atmosphere is purty darn nice. Today we reckon we enjoyed the large charbroiled hamburger and a few hot dogs. Our food arrived right smart and was mighty tasty. We also reckon we tried an apple turnover, but it didn't quite hit the spot. We will surely be comin' back!
