Today was my first time eating at Chilango’s and I have to say I wasn’t very impressed. I ordered two chicken tacos and a side of rice and beans (no drink) and the total came out to $19. It says on their website tacos are $3.50 each, but I guess that only includes the meat as other toppings like cheese and sour cream cost additional, there’s even an added charge for the tortilla, which I found odd. tacos were overall pretty good, but there were a few grizzly pieces of chicken, and the bright red sauce they give you is insanely hot. I’m typically a huge fan of hot food, even the hot food most people can’t tolerate. I would consider giving it another try maybe at lunchtime if they offer specials.

Our server Kenia was very nice! This was our first time here and we can’t wait to come back. The food is fresh and came out super fast. The horchata is the best I’ve had and the prices cannot be beat anywhere in Raleigh.
