One of the first things I said upon coming to this Chili's is that "It's like Applebee's but actually good." This was in reference to the Applebee's at Poyner Place, across the road from the Town Center Mall complex, where Chili's is.Service was great, they didn't seem to have any issues with how late we had arrived (it was still a couple hours before closing, but well after any activity.)The food was great as well. I had the Smokehouse Combo with a half rack of ribs and the chicken ranch quesadilla, the ribs were good, unlike the ribs at a certain other establishment I have already mentioned. The quesadilla was also very good.I would comment on prices being high, but high prices aren't a problem specific to this restaurant. The food is at least more worth the price than at other restaurants.My suggestion is that if you are looking to go to a bar and grill, between the two near Town Center Mall, pick Chili's.

THEY FOOD IS AMAZING AND THE SERVICE IS A1!! THE FOOD WAS SO FRESH AND PERFECT !! I WILL DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE !! THIS WAS THE BEST CHILLS I EVER ATE AT!! AND THEY MOVE FAST !! SOON AS YOU SIT , YOU WILL BE SERVED FAST!! I LOVE IT !!
3-2024 Another disappointing visit to chili's. I had the pick 3 smokehouse special and had ribs, sausage and crispy chicken tenders. The only 2 things on the plate, was the backside of the toast, and the edges of my baby back ribs. Thr fries were mush, not a crispy bit in the pile. The "crispy chicken tenders" were not even close to crispy, and the ribs were overcooked and dry. Why do I keep coming back to this location??Very disappointing Chilis visit tonight. Our server Stacey took forever to come to the table and take drink orders, then we watched them sitting there in the bar as she passed them by MULTIPLE times, then after she brought them, she NEVER came and asked if we would like to order a second round.Most of the Chips were greasy and not crispy, then to top it off when we asked for a to go box then thanked her she could not even be bothered to acknowledge we thanked her and then she just walked away. A simple you are welcome would do, or maybe a "thank you for dining with us" would have been nice as well. We will go to a different location from now on if this is how your servers treat customers.

Can't tell you about the food because we didn't order the atmosphere just didn't feel right like people were on edge. As far as service we had a party of 4 adults and 2 children the waitress came after about ten minutes saying I will be you in a minute 10 minutes went by so we left didn't order anything 20 minutes wasted for nothing ?

So I went to this location last night, was seated fast given menus everything was going well. Not a lot of people there so I figured it would be a pretty fast process. So I watched 5 more people come in and get seated. I was never asked what I wanted to have to drink or anything of that nature. Those same 5 people that I watched come in they were seated and served before I was. Totally unacceptable very disappointing! I live 5 minutes from this place and usually wouldn’t mind going here, but that has changed after my experience last night!

I went to Chili’s tonight for the first time in years and I ordered the chicken crispers Combo Dipped in mild sauce with fries and a house salad. I had to call in my order because I wasn’t able to make my customization online. The woman that took my order provided me with exceptional customer service. She went above and beyond to help me and she was the same woman that helped me when I got to the restaurant. By the time I got home and ate my food, it was still fresh and was good quality. They went above what I expected. ?
Edit:Forgot to add that there was a clear difference in service at this location. We watched some servers be very attentive to their tables while ours was not. The mall area needs a boost so we try to support it but we'll likely stick to the Wake Forest Chili's location.It's a chain restaurant. We go when we can't decide and because it's predictable.
