I ordered ahead, arrived 5 minutes after the estimated ready time, and was ignored by staff with 7 other people picking up. I finally got my food after being there 20 minutes and it was missing ingredients. Staff wouldn't even start someone's bowl until they announced themselves, defeating the entire purpose of ordering ahead.

When someone finally came to help us it was because we were reaching across the counter to finished bags that had names and been sitting for 10 minutes. The employee was rude and exasperated and talked to us like children.

All that was necessary was basic acknowledgement and communication.

Food is soo good but expensive 😭 also the salad was all at the top so it was pretty much finished before I got to the rice and stuff. I’d come back tho🙂‍↕️it was good regardless

First time I ordered pick up and they put chicken in my wrap instead of tofu - I’m a 20 year vegetarian. Second visit the team member gave me a salad instead of a wrap, and when I said it was supposed to be a wrap she rudely said “you didn’t say that” (I did). I appreciate the variety of ingredients here but after 2 bad experiences I won’t be back. :(

As a longtime Chopt fan, it’s such a shame how this place has gone downhill in recent months. I’ve had issues with each of the last four orders over as many months. Having loved this place for years, it’s clear the love isn’t being returned. Will be heading to the competitor in N Hills in the future.

I wasn’t going to post a review, but felt the need to after my experience today. So about a month ago I online ordered a warm Mediterranean bowl with falafel sub for chicken, and wrote no chicken in the special instructions. I picked up the order and didn’t realize until I got home that it had chicken throughout and I was unable to eat it. I didn’t return to the store at that point as my boyfriend ended up eating it. However, I did reach out to the support team and they gave me a refund and a $10 store credit. I didn’t think too much about this first experience as sometimes people make mistakes and I was willing to overlook that. Now today I went back to the store and ordered the same thing. Again, my order requested no chicken. I picked it up during lunch and again, there was chicken in the bowl. This time I brought it back to the store and asked it to be remade without chicken, per my original instructions. The guy working said he would remake it, but really wasn’t apologetic. So then after he remade it, I didn’t bother checking it in the store before I left as no way he added chicken right in front of me, right? WRONG. I got home and discovered chicken inside the bowl, see attached picture. I legit thought I was being punked. This is unacceptable and I’m extremely disappointed with this service. This location used to be one of my go-to lunch spots, but I will no longer be a customer. I gave two stars instead of one due to the accommodating support team only.

its literally just salad and youre probably like oh i can just make that at home!! NO. YOU CANNOT. FOR THE LOW LOW PRICE OF LIKE 12 BUCKS YOU CAN PURCHASE A MASSIVE FREAKING DELICIOUS SALAD AND HAVE TWO MEALS RIGHT THERE BOOM. except mine never lasts two meals because i am a bigback salad fiend. i would take this salad on a nice dinner date and then take it back to my place iykwim. ive been hooked on this place since i was a wee little lassie and listen. its gotta be good if you can get like a 10 year old hooked on salad. SALAD. "GREENS EEWWWWWW" NO MORE. its literally just salad but its like crack or something it would be horrible for me to go to ncsu because i would literally spend all my money on salad

I tried out Chopt for the first time in July 2024. I quickly grew fond of their bowls and salads and began visiting on a fairly regular basis. Unfortunately, the past two times I purchased bowls, the grain base has had undercooked rice in it (not just a little, but a lot), with some of the grains so hard there's no way to chew it. The first time it happened (last week), I just assumed it was a fluke, but then it happened again today. I'm not willing to risk chipping a tooth!

I'm usually a pleased customer when I come to Chopt but today's visit did not go as expected. I asked for the warm miso bowl with avocado in place of chicken because I am a vegetarian. I bit into a piece of chicken and noticed several chunks of chicken in my salad. I asked for my bowl to be remade. The second version was vegetarian but didn't include sweet potato so I had to go back in to ask for that to be added to my bowl. It just felt like careless mistake after careless mistake.

I went in for dinner, and unfortunately, there was a small mishap with my bowl. However, the staff was so so nice and kindly remade my bowl for me going the extra mile for their customer!

My experience with this location is that you got to order it in person. 2 times I order pick up and the avocado is just placed on the top. Is it supposed to be like this? Why is this place even called chopped??? I’m pretty disappointed in my order if I’m not there watching them making my salad.

I come to this location at least once a week. The staff are always friendly and the food is always great. I’m from a rural town in eastern NC and never heard of or tried this place til about two years ago, and now I’ve tried to con all my people into trying it too when they come visit me. It’s a little pricey but worth it for the fresh ingredients and the portions you get IMO. Can’t recommend this place enough. I swear I could just about drink that red chile ranch.
