I paid $37 for carne asada and chicken fajita tacos. The asada part was missing in the carne, it was just dry beef. The tortillas were not warm enough and the ingredients were falling out of it from the bottom. As for the chicken fajita tacos, someone must’ve been hiding the seasoning back in the kitchen because it was just boiled and blunt. Also, please let people know that there’s a sauce bar in the back as I did not know since I was new. Also, add some limes to the tacos

Very impressed with this place! Ordered a Mexican Pizza and a three taco combo via the app and got two $3 house margaritas on a Monday. More than enough food and it was all very delicious. The tacos were juicy and fresh and the refried beans were fantastic. The Mexican Pizza was a fun twist to try. All orders come with chips and a serve yourself salsa bar. Great service as well. 100% will be back.

Are here last week and got the loaded nachos. I received a beautiful full box with all the toppings.
Came back for the two dollar tacos. What I received was one or two tablespoons of meat with a little bit of onion and cilantro in a tortilla that could have held five times as much.
Paid for 3 sauces, received only 2. I was ignored when I asked for the other 2.

First time checking this place out and I ordered two tacos and made it a combo. The combo sides I chose were refried beans and rice. I didn't really care for the rice it was like Spanish boxed rice. The tacos were good though ,I got the spicy carne asada and a chicken one. I did try out there salsa bar and tried a few spicy sauces. They also have a bar in there so I'll have to check it out next time I'm nearby

Apparently, Chubby’s changed ownership in 2021, and you can tell. The chicken fajita tacos we always get used to have pieces of chicken; now it is ground chicken. The house salsa used to be the best anywhere around; now it tastes like tomato sauce and water. I ordered a margarita and it came out before we sat down. It had to be a mix; there’s no way you can make a margarita that fast. You could tell by the taste as well; it tasted syrupy and carbonated. I guess that’s what happens when a big company takes over. Very sad. Also, what happened to the cute mouse?!

~ I don’t know what has happened to Chubby’s over the past 4 years (new ownership?) but it’s not good.? …plasticware + all sides come in styrofoam (suuuuper unhealthy) & the guacamole & refried beans tasted horrible (both went straight into the trash). Though the chips + corn aloté (I ordered w/out cream sauce) were fairly solid!? Sad :(

We ordered the quesadilla Al pastor and the taste was very weird and burnt. When you open the quesadilla it doesn’t even look like Al pastor. The torta was not better. They used an obviously store bought guacamole that tasted expired, we had to throw it away completely since the taste was too strong. They have good customer service and the restaurant is so colorful and beautiful inside, but the food should be the priority. They have a lot of room for improvement here and I hope this review can help them get better.
