Walked in to pick a Togo order. Stood at counter for a few minutes with no acknowledgement from the staff. Manager was in the window and looked right at me and said nothing. I had to raise my hand and ask for help bc once the cashier was done with the customer in line she started talking to her manager instead of helping me. The cashier made it seem her conversation with the manager was more important than handing me my food that was sitting on the counter since I walked in the door.

We finally made our way to the BBQ Warehouse. We were warmly welcome and given a tour of the menu. For our meats, we chose brisket, chicken, turkey, and sausage. We also added burnt ends! After sampling the sides, we decided on yams, greens, beans, and coleslaw. We added corn bread, too. I can't say what we liked the best because we all had different favorites for different reasons. However, we all agreed that the burnt end is a must.

Beef brisket was ok but over done. French fries were nothing special--fast food quality. This is quite different from just a few years ago when the potatoes were cut and fried on premises. Silverware was not clean. For the time we ate the venue wasn't very crowded--that does not bode well for the future.

11/30/2024 I just picked up my curbside order of chili and peach cobbler. It was the absolute worst peach cobbler zi've ever had, threw most away aftet two Forks. This was the saturday after Thanksgiving so I believe I was given what was left over from the day before Thanksgiving. Somepne scrapped all the corners of the pan to fill my order. All dry bread, no peaches what so ever and no juice. City BBQ you should be shame. It was only $4.99 but I should get what i pay for.

First time at a city bbq. Initial impression is that is a knock off of Mission BBQ, without the military theming. The bbq was not as good as mission, nor were the sauces. The not a sloppy Joe sandwich was a real disappointment. There are much better options for bbq.
First time trying them chicken was really good and that was about it… Mac and cheese was salt, cheese and noodles no seasoning or taste. Collard greens were hard as hell and crunchy with no taste, slaw was also flavorless as well

Intended to go to Prime BBQ, but they were closed on Monday. Discovered City BBQ (grand opening). The food was good, the staff was still in training, however she did a great job. Good food, nice people. My only really complaint is how quickly they force a 'Combo' on you if you simply want a single side, and a cup of water. Not everyone wants to pay the extra 2-3 bucks for a soda they don't want, just to get hushpuppies. They must of really pounded this upsell into the team during training.
