City Barbecue delivers on its promise of real, slow-smoked meats and classic Southern sides. I tried the brisket and pulled pork—both were juicy, flavorful, and had a great bark. The portion sizes were generous, and everything tasted freshly made.

An absolutely amazing place to go eat! The food is amazing. The manager, Jojo, is so sweet and he and his staff are always so welcoming. A must try for the service and food for sure!!!

Went to one of these in Clayton/Garner area years ago -- so we stopped here for a birthday celebration. Staff was so kind and helpful ☺️. The barbecue brisket was delicious and we bought many sides and desert. It was a wonderful experience. We have of course been back there. Last time we visited they gave us free desert. Wow! Highly recommended restaurant.
