We live downtown, so weâve tried a lot of sushi spotsâbut City Market Sushi is hands-down the best. Weâve been coming every week for over a year, and itâs consistently perfect. The food is always fresh, always correct, and always top quality. On top of that, every team member is incredibly kind and welcoming. We love the ownerâyou can tell how much care and pride they put into everything. The ambiance the atmosphere are choice. We truly love this place. I canât believe it took me this long to write a reviewâit deserves all the praise! Everyone please go, cause we will be there next week. and the week after that. and the week after that and the week after that.

Given a problem submitting our order (kitchen printer ran out of paper), the wife and I waited an excessive amount of time for our food. We asked for free wine refills (2 glasses) while we waited for the reorder. Although the waiter extended a sincere apology, the manager was unwilling to make any concessions or comps. A reputable restaurant will always say sorry in some tangible way when they goof. Not here . . . priority is profit over patrons.

Best sushi in Raleigh. Makes you feel like you're in a much bigger city than you actually are. The best first date, anniversary, just friends place to eat in town.
Our food was delicious and the service was great! We didnât have a reservation but were able to get seats at the bar. We enjoyed a bottle of sake and several rolls. If we had more room we would have sampled them all! The quality and thought that went into the rolls was clear. Great ambiance and made for a wonderful night out
