Amazing night at City Market Sushi. We're new to the area and we were brought here by our awesome friends (Christine and Tess). The service was perfect, the pace was smooth, and everything tasted great. We met the manager Jessie who is so sweet and accommodating as well. Cozy ambiance and great mood music added positivity to the experience. Can't wait to come back!

Wow, we had an incredible experience. City Market Sushi is located downtown with a small, intimate setting. We were greeted upon entering, and experienced quick, professional service throughout our time there. We ordered the pork belly and maguro tataki. Both were delicious, though the tataki's service size was not too large. We then ordered six sushi rolls- every single one of the specialty sushi rolls we ordered were out of this world. The fish's texture and flavors were perfect, and the combinations of flavors in the rolls were superb. Their presentations were also pretty. Overall, the only negative in our experience was that the prices were not great considering that the portions were not very large. However, everything tasted ridiculously good so I'd argue that the experience was worth the price. Can't wait to come back here.

Not your normal sushi place. The rolls they offer are unique. Great food experience. I went there for my wife's birthday dinner. Reservation made on line. Had to change it and the lady handling this called me. She was very polite and helpful. Cozy and very clean.

One of the better sushi spots around. The nigiri and sushi roll we ordered were on point. The house salad could use some work -- the ginger dressing is thin, store bought, not the big clump of house ground ginger dressing that I was hoping for (might be better if asked for extra dressing; avocado was a nice touch though. Spring leaves over iceberg is fine but would be better chopped a bit, felt like an italian salad). Miso was good as well. Mochi ice cream for dessert -- mango by far the best flavor. Will come back here for sushi again.

Putting it simply, the sushi is really damn good. Especially the eel had that perfect crunch exterior and soft flavorful interior. It does cost a pretty penny though, but I would say it's worth it if you're looking for quality.

I'm not sure if we just got unlucky or experienced an anomaly but we ordered the miso soup and edamame for starters and both were lukewarm at best! It was so strange. Both things usually at any decent sushi restaurant would be steaming hot so that was very disappointing. However the sushi rolls for the entree were unique and good. Ambience and service were also great. The 3 stars are mostly because of the disappointing starters.

Went there to celebrate my husband’s birthday. The edamame and soup were not as hot as it should be. The rolls were good and had flavor but the overall experience was a let down in-comparison to the reviews and ratings you see online.
