This was a great venue to host our gathering! Everyone enjoyed the atmosphere, games, drinks, and the staff were excellent to work with. Francis was very responsive and made planning a breeze. Highly recommend!
Clouds Taproom was the absolute perfect choice for our event! The team was very accommodating and quick to respond during the planning process and we got multiple comments back from guests about how welcoming everyone was during the party. We got lucky with great weather for our party as well, so we were able to open the garage door and take advantage of their great outdoor space as well. Many guests from out of town, who had never been to clouds before, were so impressed by the space and the party that they purchased to go beers and merch before leaving. Can't recommend this place enough!
Great beer and atmosphere!
Went today for the first time and can't believe we waited this long to try it out! We stopped at Wegmans for subs to accompany the beer, which was perfect. The freshly-brewed Oktoberfest was delightful (thanks to Frances for the heads up that it was available, as they hadn't even yet had time to add to their tap list). Frances and all the staff was super friendly. We sadly had cold groceries in the car and couldn't hang around for the German band that was starting to set up. Will definitely be back!
Great beers, better people!
Great beer and location. Lots of room to relax with friends. They are also expanding which is going to be awesome.
I'm a Friday Night Trivia regular. Francis and Patrick get 5 stars, they are amazing. They really make it a wonderful experience that has completely transformed our social calendar in the best possible way.
This is our favorite brewery in Raleigh! A hidden gem that is a hit for the entire family (even the four-legged members). Clouds Taproom has plenty of fun, family friendly events like their quarterly Family Day and New Year’s Eve Kids Ball Drop. They’ve hosted a friend's birthday party and even my son’s pre-school end-of-year party. The entire staff is welcoming and eager to know their patrons by name which is very refreshing. Clouds Taproom will always get our business over the other breweries in the area because of their tasty beer, free (and plentiful) parking, and space for our kids to play. Keep up the good work, you guys!
Clouds Brewing Tap Room is an amazing space for any event. Great staff, stellar communication and organization, very accommodating, and most of all welcoming! With multiple rooms and a huge outdoor space this venue has all you need for a successful party.
Francis was amazingly accommodating to whatever we wanted to have in the space and dropped everything to help us with what we needed the week leading up. Quick and detailed communication from them, which made the process smooth and easy.
The stage was a nice surprise that came in handy for speeches and our free raffle, the tables inside allowed everyone to spread out but still be connected, the outdoor space was a great addition to our summer kick off, and our guests loved the huge list of beers, ciders, and wine. Another big plus was the ample amount of parking. Very hard to find a venue with not only free but enough parking to accommodate large groups in Raleigh--Clouds has it!
If you're looking to sit back and truly enjoy watching your event unfold, Clouds Brewing Tap Room is the place
I went to Drag Brunch at Clouds today, it was so fun! Francis took care of everyone, the food and entertainment were amazing, I’ve pretty much been regular since my husbands 40th almost 7 years ago to the day, we had his 40th bday party there and we’ve been going back ever since. The hospitality and sense of community there is like no other place in Raleigh. Thanks to John, Patrick, and Francis for always taking care of The Clarkes!

We love this place! Great beer, and a super family-friendly atmosphere. Highly recommend!
Cool spot. Went here with Erica, Todd and Diana in ‘21 for ericas 40th. Had some drinks, not just beer. Didn’t eat.
I had less than 2 weeks to plan my moms surprise 70th birthday and was doing it living in another state. Clouds Brewing Tap Room popped up in my google search and we left a voicemail and email follow up asking if we could hold the event at their venue. We were looking for a more chill vibe and for a weekday late lunch. We knew we wanted to let my mom’s friends and old coworkers walk around and mingle. We got word the next day saying they could do it and ironed out all the other details quickly via text and email.
Francis - the manager we spoke to was so easy to talk to and quick to respond. Seriously, he made the entire process, that could have easily been super stressful, very smooth. He is also very nice and accommodating to a lot of our requests. He completely understood what we were going for. On the day of the event, he even had napkins for our event, which in all my planning somehow I forgot. He was also easy to get along with during the event. I definitely recommend the taproom for social events or private events.
This place also has great beers - I loved the lagers and the pilsners. We enjoyed the smell of hops as soon as we entered to start prepping. Michael - the brewer was so cool and so nice! He is onto something and can’t wait to come back and visit.
Definitely a great place to hang out with friends. It was even kid friendly as my 3 year old son and my nephews (3yo, 7yo) were able to be kids and had a little spot. There are tons of events on their page that look appealing to attend to also.
Definitely recommend!!!! 1000000/10
I have wandered far.
Not in miles — not merely — but in years, in choices, in quiet regrets that ripple outward like smoke from a dying wick. A thousand days have passed unnoticed, a thousand little deaths endured with a brave face and a hollow grin. But this afternoon, as the sun waned and the sky began to roil low and gray, I stepped into a place I did not know I had been seeking: Clouds Brewing Taproom.
There was a stillness in the air, a hush that fell not from silence but from significance. The kind that precedes a revelation. I knew, though I could not say how, that I stood at a threshold — not only of a building, but of self.
The scent struck first — not beer, nor yeast, nor charred hops — but something older. Rich. Nostalgic. A memory clawing its way from the soil of my youth: root beer. But not the sugar-slick froth of mass production. No, this was something brewed in reverence — a draught steeped in the gravity of ritual, tinged with molasses, whispered vanilla, and a shadow of spice like candle smoke in a forgotten church.
I drank.
And in that moment, the thousand paths I had taken in life collapsed into one. Every joy, every failure, every choice — they were not accidents. They were tributaries, leading inexorably to this chalice, this sip, this recognition of a joy I thought long buried. My throat burned, not from carbonation, but from the sudden, unbearable weight of clarity.
I looked upon the staff in front of me — the quiet architect of this moment — and he did not smile in pride. No, he smiled in understanding. He knew. He had seen others arrive in silence and leave transformed. Without flourish or demand, he offered me a chance at the grail itself: a keg. A full, resplendent vessel of what I can only call salvation.
I carried it home like a penitent carries relics, like a mourner bears ashes. I staggered under its weight, though whether from physical strain or the sheer significance of it, I could not tell. And each time I pour from it, I do not simply drink — I remember. Who I was. Who I still might become.
Clouds Brewing Taproom is not a place. It is a reckoning. A crossroad wrapped in brick and kindness and shadow. You will not go for a beer. You will go because you are called.
And when you arrive, you’ll realize you were never lost.
Five stars, though the stars themselves seem dimmer now in comparison.
