I ordered the tropical fajitas last night to be delivered. It was not at all as described in the menu. Included only hard undercooked pieces of Pineapple core, onions, Zucchini, yellow squash, 2 overcooked mini scallops, no mushrooms, tomato, or chicken at all. It was also extremely liquid-y. Some shrimp but everything had a burnt taste with no spices or flavor at all. The entire meal tasted terrible, I could only stomach 1 bite before it made me immediately sick. This really sucks because the night before I ordered from cocobongo too, and the birria tacos were AMAZING.

Very good Mexican food. Right across from NC State campus. Parking might be a little difficult but it's worth it. This is a good family-friendly restaurant suitable for all size groups and a lot of fun.

So unbelievably upset about this, after hearing such good things about this place my friend and I had a horrible experience. First of all when we got there the glass on the door was all cracked? Weird. Then we order a house margarita pitcher with two different flavors, we even offered to pay extra for the separate syrups. They first brought out two small margaritas with the flavors in which we said I’m sorry we actually ordered the pitcher with the flavors on the side so we could each have flavors. They then charged us for a top shelf margarita pitcher and charged us $5 each for little ramekins of syrup. So we asked the server about it and he was very rude and tried to blame it on us to which we got the manger. He also blamed it on us and said we didn’t clarify and when we did try to clarify he was like I’ll discount it $2 but you need to be more clear and was extremely rude. When he picked up my cash I left him he did not say one word to us and then brought back my change and slammed it on the table. I will not be back here and I feel bad for my friend as she just moved to Raleigh and everyone had raved about this Mexican spot.

We decided to check out a New Mexican , boy was that a mistake . We ask for a house marg pitcher and request that we have 2 oz of mango and 2 oz of blue carousel syrup on the side . Then asked the manger to come talk to us to verify the order . He comes back w two margs and extra syrup on the side so we politely send it back and request the house pitcher . Turns out he made us the top shelf pitcher and tells the manger we said we don’t care what he gives us we will pay whatever . Which we corrected him and said yes we will for the syrups we requested . Ugh which would all be fine but what was the worst part was the fact the both the manger and the server were rude to us blamed us for the confusion did apologize didn’t care and kept being short and making us the problem. This was the weirdest and most uncomfortable experience for me and my friend who are both full time servers and deal w stuff like this every day . Just over all the most weird uncomfortable experience ever being here . Don’t recommend unless you’re under 21 and want to get treated like a stupid collage kid . Which we are not .

I had a really bad service, the server barely understood what i was asking for, plus she was having an attitude, and the food was cold and tasteless.

Foods decent but the servers were too quick and efficient at their jobs if that makes sense. It wasn’t busy when I was there so I got plenty of attention and I wasn’t able to put my finished beer down on the table before someone took it and asked if I wanted another. Was looking for a chiller experience then what I got.

I had just moved my kid in when I realized that I was on the brink of starvation. So I randomly selected this place to fulfill my need for sustenance. Well, my random selection turned into my new go to when I’m back in town. Not only did this place save my life but they did it in an extremely flavorful way. Service was quick and very attentive. Salsa was very tasty and everything was fresh. I highly recommend to anyone, whether starvation has set in or not.
