My favorite ice cream joint. The toppings are a dollar tho so keep that in mind if you like to mix in a bunch. The tall guy there will hook you up tho and is not stingy with the ice cream.

Terrible customer service skills! The one young lady serving me and my daughter did not have take my order correctly and told me what I wanted lol! Who does that?! Sad that this is the closest one to me. I won’t be coming here again.

We purchased an Ice Cream cake to celebrate a birthday. The cake was damaged or poorly made. I can’t really determine which. The bottom layer is crumbled away. And the gold serving round that it comes on is smeared and dirty. It doesn’t look like a good example of a Coldstone Creamery cake. I called the store to report the problem and ask if I could return the cake and be given a new one that would be nice for the party. I was treated very rudely by the employee who answered the phone. Initially she attempted to explain away the poorly made cake and give reasons why it wasn’t as pictured. She told me that because of COVID 19 restrictions I could not return the cake or receive a refund. In frustration she placed me on hold to call the manager (Bob). Sadly, I was still not offered a suitable solution. I was told that the manager backed what I was told and that I could not exchange the cake or be refunded. I asked for the Corporate phone number for Coldstone and was told to “google it!” I asked for the manager’s name so that I could reference him when I called and was only given Bob.. I then asked for the young lady’s name that I was speaking to and was told that she didn’t feel comfortable giving me her name. How then should I place my complaint?? I don’t think she meant it, however I felt disrespected and disregarded. Manager (Bob) said he’d call me Monday regarding the problem? It’s 6:00 pm on Friday.. A call back 3 days after the Birthday is unacceptable. By the end of the call I was able to get the Store number from the employee. This is my neighborhood Coldstone. I will not return.

Ordered a cake yesterday via phone call, we gave our name phone number and even paid for the cake. We arrived this morning to pick it up and the cake was nowhere to be found. The young lady in the front had an attitude and kept questioning whether or not we had ordered it. We showed her the phone call and the credit card charge while she was arguing with her manager over the phone. 20 minutes later we just took the plain cake with no writing to get out. Horrible customer service, go to another location.

I will never visit this location again in life. Hope everyone stop using this location and go to the other ones. I ordered a custom cake for my son 36th birthday, it’s been about 5 years since we shared his birthday together since we live so far apart. Picked up the cake on 9/12 there was a hair on the cake, called the store the girl said I will let the manager know and he will call you on Monday, Monday came no call so I called him. First he said he needed a picture told him I had a picture then he said he wanted the cake threw the cake away, it’s Covid-19 can’t take nothing back but I have a picture and my receipt he got smart and did nothing called corporate and still haven’t heard anything. Please stop patronizing this place. They boxed it, put in a bag yet still no one seen the hair on the cake. Sad!

Ice cream was fine. Place got crowded. Couldn't hear anything the server was saying. No hand sanitizer available. I asked for sanitizer and was ignored. Made me sign a receipt with pens everyone are touching even during covid worries. Sure enough, I forgot and placed my finger in my mouth a few minutes later to remove a chocolate chip. Hope I don't get ill.

I miss could stone a lot! I used to work subway next to the cold stone. The owner from cold stone and he's wife, he's son, he's employees all that people are very sweet very nice! I got free ice cream from there few times. They are very friendly specialty the owner is very kind and great parson. I moved in Michigan last year. And I miss them so much!

We walked in and were not greeted by anyone. Then the attendees in the front helped about 4 in front of us then completely left us unattended, we waited about five minutes to even be asked what we wanted. First and last time coming.

This USE to be one of the Cold Stones we frequented in Raleigh and we live in Durham. The new Indian owners are racists, liars and will NEVER get our business again. The little bitty short Indian guy needs better customer service training for himself and his staff. We WILL NEVER COME BACK to that location and plan to post our interaction with them on Facebook as well. Stay away from this location people.

I would give less than one star if it was an option. I have ordered from this location twice through Door Dash. The first time I ordered there were missing ingredients. I didn't want to go through the hassle of notifying the store or Door Dash so we just ate the ice cream as it. Today, I ordered from that location again through Door Dash. Prior to ordering, I called the location, gave my name, explained what happened with the last order, and asked for assurance that this order would be correct (which I received with repeated apologies). When my order arrived, the order was missing one of the Gotta Have It ice creams AND ingredients were missing from the other. I called the store and Door Dash extremely frustrated. I will NEVER order from this location again unless I am standing in the restaurant supervising the process to ensure that I get what I pay for!

NEW OWNERS - TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! We used to come here every couple of weeks with the kids and loved the place. The kids usually get the kids size and we always asked to combine 3 flavors in one scoop (kids size is one scoop). Yesterday, under new ownership, we asked for the usual and were told with a straight face "we don't do this". When I made a reference to getting it this way previously, the person behind the counter made a racist reference to the "previous Chinese owners" and that new owners have new rules. Extremely rude! Not coming here again. Also, usually we would get an "oversized" one scoop. This time I feel like we got closer to half a scoop.

We just went in and were "greeted" by the Store Manager Bri. And by "greeted" I mean nobody came out of the back area for a solid minute and when she did - she sighed and in the most annoyed tone goes "uhh thanks for coming to Coldstone..." and rolled her eyes. Wtf? I'm a guest! I order my ice cream since I'm here anyway and don't want to go thru the hassle of going elsewhere. I order - her tone continues to be so down. Like she is downright annoyed we came in for ice cream. She's a freakin' store manager treating guests like a hassle for coming into her store? Coldstone should be ashamed for hiring someone with such a horrendous attitude. I used to frequent here after getting Pho across the street but moving forward I'll go elsewhere. Idk what her problem is - or who made her day so sour - but don't take it out on your customers. A smile, a "hi! How are ya? How can I help you?", would have been wonderful. Instead we received eye rolls, sighs and monotone responses like we annoyed her for coming in.
