Love this place. I’ve been here a couple times and the first time I went there was an event going on so it was pretty busy. This time, it was quite empty but still a good vibe. Didn’t end up getting any food but the beer is always good. I really love that they allow dogs in there too! It makes it a really fun environment.

Good beer and good food. I won't be back because they let children run amuck. Debating on the second star, I really enjoyed the beer or it would have been one.

Compass rose has a great atmosphere and different entertainment each night of the week. We love Karaoke on Saturdays.

Really like the amazing beer selection here. They offer their own plus a few others as well as some wines and seltzers. The food is good but I come for the beer. The food theme is mostly Latin American. The Area wasn't really my favorite but it is probably just me. I can't say it is bad but would wish for more options. The Chicken Wings might be a go to for next time. Love how this place is not too loud even with a lively crowd for BINGO.

Good place if you wanna do some Karaoke. But way too many kids. And don't eat the food. It made me sick.

We like the bar snacks/food and the beer but the last two times we've gone there have been more children than adults. Last night there was an entire football team of 12 year olds running around and the time before that there was a literal 1st birthday party..... I don't mind kids but this is not the place for them and the parents just drink and talk while their kids run wild. I almost stepped on a kid who was chasing a balloon under my table last night.

Great beer and snacks!

Nice place, clean and wide open. New kitchen offerings are amazing! Beer selection is good, would like to see more sour or cider options tho.

Josh was an amazing bartender! He recommended the Bludacris cider from Bull City and it was DELICIOUS. And his metalcore playlist? YES PLEASE. I'll be back for sure!

Went for a race in collaboration with the brewery. Staff was nice. Establishment was clean. Beer was cold. Can't ask for much more.

New manager has turned this place on its head. It used to be great, but they have adjusted beer specials (read "no more $5 pints on Thursdays"), really pissed off the old trivia host (who will never come back), and had issues retaining the servers who made this place great in the past. Very "sterile" environment now. And the brewmaster had screwed with the formulation of staple beers (Queen's Harvest sucks now. Carhops have a bad flavor). No thanks.

The food was pretty good, the bartender and person taking the food order were also super great!. I’m leaving 2 stars because my work team came in for a holiday gathering and there was corn hole going on. Ok, that’s cool! We had twelve so moved chairs to seat us at the one empty long table left. A lady, who I think works there, told my team we were not allowed to sit there and threw a fit because she “just moved those”. I informed her this is the only table with enough spots and she argued that we should ask another table to move their seats so we could sit 12. We did not want to ask the gentleman to move (rude!) so SHE went over there and asked them to get up- of course they said no (understandable, they were there first) and she cussed at them because they wouldn’t! Then we are trying to enjoy our time and yes there was cornhole going on but I mean the table was off to the side and we weren’t all over the place, and the cornhole was not bothering us so I figured all was well. This woman comes back and asks us how much longer and we need to leave because we are in her way! I get this is a brewery to have fun but damn we just wanted to have a few drinks and eat and this woman completely ruined our night. No one should talk to people like that first of all and secondly if you are going to have vendors (or maybe she was an employee) please let them know tables seat guests who are wanting to spend money.

Good beer and food, the staff was great - but holy hell the live music was so unbelievably loud. We were getting together with friends from out of town and literally had to scream to hear the person across the table from us. Multiple people complained - a crowd was huddled by the bathroom to be as far away from the music as possible. If you’re going to have live music, it should be quiet enough that I can hear the person sitting next to me without literally having to scream.I know the bartenders asked the band (Petty Thieves) to quiet down four or five times but it was a lost cause. We ended up leaving and going to another bar specifically because the music was so overwhelming when we otherwise would’ve happily spent another several hours (and more $$) there. This was my first experience there - I don’t know if all their live music nights are like this but it was really un enjoyable. I don’t have any desire to go back and I felt really bad for the staff who couldn’t hear each other either.

Eat before you come!! We came here for Oktoberfest and ordered $65 of food. The beef arepa and falafel wrap were totally inedible. I'm talking a nausea-inducing level of nasty. We ended up eating a side of fries and threw everything else away. They were selling soft pretzels for Oktoberfest, so we ordered 2 with cheese. Here's a beautiful photo of the congealed blob we were given to dip our pretzels in. Gross. The beer is pretty good, so skip the kitchen and enjoy the libations instead.
