I bought 2 trays both with a bottle of water. (11/12/25 @ 210pm). The water was room temperature, ok for some people but I like cold water. They refused to give me a cup of ice to go with it. Onion rings tasted like they had been sitting and were dropped in the fryer again to heat up. Cajun fries were missing the seasoning. Customer service was seriously lacking for this visit. Cashier name on the tray says Billy but it was a female that was in the window.

I come to this cookout everyday , if not every other day.. recently they made a new location right next door to the old one… because im a consistent customer the cashiers usually know my order or are familiar with me .. i order the SAME meal everytime And the price is always the same … last week i came in got my normal order and they forgot my bacon cheeseburger! I came during my lunch break and wasnt able to return clearly cause i was at work .. when i returned i informed the new cashier that my burger wasnt in the bag and he asked for a receipt and i let him know that i didnt have the physical receipt but i have the proof of transaction !! The cashier told me the manager was in the bathroom & told me i COULDNT wait in the drive through for him to return ( there was nobody behind me ) I did not like his tone so I asked the cashier for his name and he told me his name was BILLY… fast forward to today i come inside instead of doing the drive thru and the manager whos name is Diego took my order .. i explained to diego the situation that took place prior before.. i didnt have to ask diego for the cashiers name because I knew it was BILLY but instead billy lied and said that he did not know me nor did he remember me asking about the burger i was missing .. diego whos the manager fell for it and its confusing cause how do i give you information on a person that claims they never met me .. how else did I know his name ? Diego than said that declined to take my order all because i asked him “ if im lying how did i tell you his name was billy “ he told me to leave the restaurant and he was refusing my order all because i wanted to know why as a everyday customer did i not recieve proper service ? The attitude and entitlement from diego was unnecessary he let me know the store is under new management & he didnt have to give me service if he did not want to .. and as a everyday spender that’s unacceptable and uncalled for when all i wanted was a proper answer and proper customer service !!! i posted pictures below of the unprofessional manager and cashier and i will be switching locations !

I'm in recovery and just got a car from Wheels4Hope November 7 after riding GoRaleigh for 13 months. My first place I wanted to get drive thru was Cook-Out because of the delicious food and they put John 3:16 on the cups. The House style burger, fries, onion rings, and sweet tea was my meal. As always the service was friendly and efficient.

Slowest in North Carolina. They got charged me for food I didn’t order (ask them to repeat the order and check the bag before driving away), I had to return to ask for the right food. Food is still good but these guys need to do better. If you don’t know how to take orders on the speaker then do another job. Be the cook or do dish washing. But you can’t be on the speaker and be this shitty.

I made a pilgrimage to Cookout for their legendary eggnog milkshake before it disappeared for the season, only to be told the shake machine was down. Heartbreaking. Settled for a Cheerwine float, which was delicious—but not the holiday magic I’d hoped for. Moral of the story: the shake machine needs to stop ghosting customers, or we’re gonna have words. Three stars because the Cheerwine float softened the blow.

It only takes a few muscles to smile and release a little courtesy...at least from a drive through attendant. I guess the locatio may also contributes to what they think may be the normal customers whom reside in the area.
