Everytime I get food from this specific location, it looks like someone slammed it on the counter and squished it inside the foil it's wrapped in. Everything is soggy by the time I get home and I lived five minutes away from this place for a bit. The portions have gotten smaller and they're still filling and taste pretty good but my partner and I ordered quesadillas tonight and they each had only about a teaspoon's worth of cheese on them, and once again looked like someone crumpled them up into a ball and unfolded them. My partner's milkshake was not mixed, his cajun fries were entirely unseasoned except for about four on the top, and he asked for ranch and barbecue sauce at the window and got four honey mustards instead as well. The location had three cars in total in the parking lot and was not busy at this time either. Overall, the food is edible and tastes good but prepare for a very Wet Meal. I understand that working fast food is a fast paced environment, as that term entails, but it seems the employees want you gone as soon as you pull up to the window. I don't expect anything other than pleasantries and for my order to be heard but that was not my experience. I hate to say this about Cookout too, as I've had good experiences in the past.

I usually love Cook Out, but this location in particular seems to struggle. They consistently get orders wrong, e.g. putting mayo on something when one specifically requests no mayo, they frequently seem to burn their hush puppies, and they underseason their Cajun fries. If I'm ordering from here, I basically have to check the bag before I leave, because there's a good chance that something is wrong. Go a few miles down the street to the one over by Crossroads. For whatever reason, they seem to have their act together where this location doesn't.

I had MASSIVE expectations for this cookout after my previous cookout experinces. After a long day with my friend we wanted good ol fashioned NC cookout but were disappointed with our service. After receiving our order we noticed that they TAPERED part of our order out and the food was LOW quality. You couldn't IMAGINE how disappointed we were.

After 4 years away, living in the SF Bay area, coming back here and getting a cookout tray with a dr pepper float for under $10 is mind-blowing. Nowhere else can replicate a cookout style burger.
