Cornerstone Tavern on Glenwood Avenue is a favorite spot for many, located on the northern edge of Glenwood South's entertainment district in Raleigh. It offers a spacious club with three different themed clubhouses, outdoor seating, and activities for visitors. The exterior resembles a typical suburban house, but the owners have preserved its original architecture, giving the place a quirky charm. Stepping inside, the interior feels raw and unfinished, but it creates a unique atmosphere. The outdoor space is stunning, with more than half a dozen gas fire pits scattered across the grounds, surrounded by stools and cozy couches inviting conversation and relaxation. Outdoor heaters make it cozy even in colder seasons.

Each clubhouse has its own DJ, bars, and even beer pong tables. Despite some selectiveness from bouncers at the entrance, who are known for their effectiveness, the overall vibe is great. The transition from the rugged interior to the beautiful backyard creates a memorable experience. With multiple bars and bathrooms, it's easy to grab a drink and enjoy the music playing in each clubhouse. On busy nights, the place can get packed, so arriving early is recommended. Entry is usually free, making it a fantastic place to relax with friends or hit the dance floor. Just remember, no ripped jeans allowed for guys.
