Order a takeout yesterday. A shrimp basket and a crab/headoff shrimp boil bag. Very disappointed. You would’ve thought because you called and placed the order the food would’ve been hot and steamy. Instead it was lukewarm and watery.. I also only got 1 crab cluster instead of 2. I didn’t enjoy my meal at all. This place use to be good, I don’t know what happened.

I'm an crafty crab addict I've been coming here for years but on 12/28/25 my boyfriend and I decided to place a togo order the two young ladies who were taking our order were extremely rude and unprofessional. I did speak to the manager and she wasn't surprised. As a current restaurant manager those ladies wouldn't have a job in my establishment. I would have fired them immediately for that type of behavior. On top of that my shrimp was extremely over cooked and inedible smh.

I am at this location Hillsborough st in Raleigh NC. My whole table got their food and three other tables that came before me. I didn’t get an apology or nothing. I told them I have no problem paying for my daughter food but my food needs to be free due to not having my food after 20 minutes after every one’s else in the restaurant. The owner didn’t want to hear anything to please her customer. SHe got an attitude with me cause I was waiting on my food! I told her if she couldn’t to a full discount on my plate only I would take 50% off. She said no. Please don’t waste your time here they have no remorse nor apology after this. Don’t Go to the crafty on Wakeforest Road!

1 year ago I ordered from crafty crab on Hillsborough Street I was not satisfied but today I am very satisfied because I spoke to a young lady by the name of Keisha and she was so polite to make sure our order was fresh, Keisha listen to my complaint of what happened one year ago and she made a difference in changing my mind to order from this establishment on Hillsborough Street I feel when you spend $173 you should get the best quality for your money and I'm so glad that we was able to get Keisha on the phone she really made our dinner worthwhile today. Our 1st time coming to this place last night and it was a great experience. Lexi/ waitress was an awesome waitress. Food was served in a timely manner and service was great. If I come back, I would definitely prefer the same waitress but the service overall from all of the wait staff was outstanding. I would definitely recommend.
