Food wasn’t really bad but that service was absolutely diabolical. I mean pretty much non existent. I forreal wanted to ask our waiter if she was mad. Order came out wrong, Bar never got us our drinks, Waiter went missing, Dj putting out some heat but you can’t hear the person next to you. Idk if Kieth Lee could save yall.

The bartender was tending the side and didnt refull drinks and took 20 mins for anything we asked. She took our order by menory and had missing items. Even forgot my daughters whole meal. Management has gone downhill here. Do not recommend

I placed a late-night order at Crafty Crab about an hour before closing and was excited to try their build-your-own seafood boil. I ordered shrimp, mussels, snow crab, king crab, potatoes, corn, and eggs. While picking up, I ordered something from the bar — the bartender was friendly, and the atmosphere was great - music was playing the energy was nice. I tipped well and headed home with my food.

Unfortunately, the half the food and the seasoning (“the boom”) was a letdown. The shrimp were extremely overcooked and gummy, the corn wasn’t cooked enough, and the eggs were falling apart in the bag instead of being whole. For the price, it was really disappointing.

We called the next day to share our concerns and were told we should’ve called the night before — even though they were closed by then. We were also told their policy requires bringing the food back in person to get any help or resolution. I had no demands or request at this point of giving feedback on the quality of the food I received.

What makes this even more disappointing is that we had actually planned to come back on a Friday or Saturday night to dine in, since the atmosphere seems fun with a live DJ and great bartenders. But at the end of the day, it’s about the food and the customer service — and both fell short. We usually order from Crab Du Jour, but gave Crafty Crab a chance. Sadly, this first impression was our last. We won’t be returning.

When asked for the Managers Name to include in this review, the young lady on the phone simply hung up.

About 12 of us went on a Saturday night to celebrate a family birthday. They had a dj after 8 playing hip-hop and dance tracks. While the music was a bit loud for my personal taste, I enjoyed seeing people really enjoying themselves. The food was good and the service was adequate considering that it was busy. I and my group enjoyed themselves and we would go back again. We went to the Hillsborough Street location that was formerly Applebee's.

The sauce was toooo salty and the corn was hard as rock and expensive

Food was great! Service was a little slow, but very helpful. Menu is pricey, but the portions are pretty large and definitely worth the price point. We were under a speaker that was loud but the staff was understanding and adjusted it when asked. Worth a visit!

The Crafty Crab was a very nice experience. I went yesterday and had the crawfish 🦞 and shrimp 🦐 combo with “The Boom” 💥 sauce. It was seasoned just right. Our server Tiara 👑 was very kind and gave great customer service. The only problem I encountered was that at least two of the shrimp 🦐 was overcooked. However, that corn 🌽 on the cob was on point and so was the crawfish 🦞, potatoes 🥔, and the eggs 🥚. I would go again. The food overall was delicious 😋

The customer service from the host at the front door to the waitress was rude… and not friendly or welcoming… i had a 1lb snow crab boil that only had 2 clusters of crab and 2 potatoes… i did pay for 2 eggs and got those but no corn… the crab didn’t have much meat in them… the wings was undercooked but with the customer service already being bad we didn’t say any just won’t return..

Such as shame that I was neglected or forgotten. I wanted a table for one, I was seated in the middle tables near the bar and no waitress came to me, I waited and kept waiting for over than 20 min the waitress has been going all over the place to all customers except me. I lost appetite and I just left.
