10/10! This was my 2nd time visiting this location, but I’ve been to several other locations in N.C. however the atmosphere of this one, just hits different! Love the music, how spacious it is, and of course the food & service were great as well. I’ll definitely be back!

“My husband and I visited Crafty Crab Seafood Restaurant on Wake Forest Rd for the first time since they opened, and we were thoroughly impressed! Our waiter, Taliyah, provided exceptional service. She was attentive, friendly, and made us feel right at home. The seafood was incredibly fresh, cooked to perfection, and the flavors were outstanding. We loved the variety of options on the menu, and everything we tried exceeded our expectations. The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, making it a great spot for a fun meal. Walked in on a Saturday night and saw they had a live DJ playing music. Coolest surprise ever, came here blindly on a whim and had no idea they did that. Server mentioned they have a DJ every Friday and Saturday.
Good food, good service and good music. It was a whole vibe and we loved that people were eating crab leg boils and dancing. We spent about $180 for two boils (with over 3lbs of crabs and 2lbs of shrimp total), 2 beers and 2 mixed drinks.
We will definitely be back with friends for the weekends. So much fun.

I ordered Cajun Blue Crabs back to back and every time I must say the chef in the kitchen has been consistent with the flavor. I was worried that it would be over cooked cause I did see a bad review about it after I order it but twice when I ordered was cooked with perfection. Anything fried is top tier!!! Cajun wings, shrimp was on point . Next time I will dine in instead of ordering on Uber Eats ?

9/15/2024 3:30 pm. My husband and I stopped here to eat Sunday dinner. The place was relatively empty except for 2 tables and a booth. We asked if we could get a booth and very rudely they said NO, they are only for people three or more. I get thar but if there was more people, no problem but only one booth was occupied and the female was rude and acted we were bothering her. We ate next door at Panda Express. If she was nicer and not acting like we were beneath her and so nasty, we would have still eaten there.

Pricey but expected. The low country boil crawfish special was delicious! The atmosphere was good but I felt a little rushed to leave toward the end of the meal due to staff joining a table to mine before I finished.
Went there with my boss on a Wednesday night. Very few people in the restaurant. Waitress was very friendly and helpful, but wafter our order was taken, she was not checking on us for additional drinks, etc. I actually had to go and find her. She was standing with three other employees at the front desk. I got King Crab legs boil (the only option for King Crab) and probably the most expensive thing on the menu at $58. I have done these at home numerous times but I always steam them. Boiled they are very difficult to get out of the shell. Boiling them made the shell soggy so they don't crack open like when thay are steamed. They should not be served this way. I got them to take the crab out of the shell for me. They were overcooked. For that kind of money, I'll not return to this place.
Parking: Plenty of parking because there was almost noone in the restaurant.

I love Crafty Crab. The servers are great and atmosphere is always nice. They play good music too and the prices are very reasonable. Giving 4 stars because every time I’ve eaten from here the shrimp is never devined/cleaned properly. I do it myself.
