Awesome spot! 10/10 for the beer, location and vibe. This is a must visit spot in downtown Raleigh.
Try a flight! Hey can you all bring back the Motivator, pleeeeease? 😀
I spent three days in Raleigh in May 2025 for no particular reason - but decided I would use my time to explore the beer scene in town. This was one of my favorite spots. Super friendly vibe and great beers. I only wished I had a bike and could have gone out with the bunch on the group ride!
Very chill. Beers & cocktails. No food. Enjoyed the open air vibe. Very friendly and welcoming to all.
Nice beer and atmosphere
Great beer! Love the IPAs.
Great beers!!
Can’t beat the beer here! Hype to visit during their events on the weekends!
Loved their selection of sours. Cool place inside with lots of table space. We spent an afternoon here and it was nice. There is pages parking right across the street so it was also convenient.
Everything was great, amazing service! And beer amazing!

Awesome brewery and great staff. Great variety of beer st good prices with a knowledgeable staff. Swag was priced well, of which I picked up a few things to take home.
I would recommend visiting!
Personable service. Great selection of beer.
In a city full of downtown bars, Crank Arm stands out with it's great service, friendly atmosphere, and scheduled group activities almost every day of the week. Many of their brews are made on-site, and the rest are local. Devon and Morgan are some of the chillest folks to ever pull a tap handle. Pull up around the firepit, challenge yourself with an arcade game, or just throw back some drinks at the bar, you can't go wrong.
I loved the decorations they had up for the holidays! I wish the bartender had been more inviting and friendly - not just transactional. I got the Pilsner but it was definitely more piney than I’ve ever experienced for a Pilsner. I’ll need to come back in the future and try other brews!
My favorite beer stop in Raleigh, I love the bike theme and the Wednesday night and Sunday noon group rides are awesome
