Under served. Over priced. Totally disappointed.
What to expect: you are given a very small bowl to try to fill with proteins andextra salads for $14 + tax. The bowls use to be bigger. $6 for a soft drink? Yum yum sauce cost extra too? You will leave hungry and dismayed. And buckets marked as TIPS everywhere.
This place was practically empty on a Saturday night.
Recommend to go to the Chinese buffet 1 mile down capital, which also has a Mongolian BBQ and all you can eat for much less and much better.

I remember when the food was better and the cost was cheaper. Not much bang for your buck
Reviews often times reflect individual preferences, not facts. I decided to proceed with finally giving Crazy Fire Mongolian a try despite the poor reviews. The staff at the front desk was warm and welcoming. As for aesthetics, there is room for improvements. Needs brighter lighting.
Crazy Fire Mongolian is a create your own fusion stir fry.
Thoughts of cross contamination and meats sitting out was concerning.
Upon arrival I looked over the bar. Everything appeared properly chilled directly on an iced Buffett station. The Raw meats were separate from the vegetables. Each item had its own utensils in its container.
I went with the two bowls for 16.99.
I used one bowl for meats. After cooked the grilling station individual added fried rice that I requested. My other bowl was for veggies with Lo Mein noodles. A veggie lo mein was my thought process. There was a decent variety of vegetables.
I topped both bowls with light garlic oil and Mongolian sauce before taking it over to be cooked. Everything had a smoky grill flavor and it was mildly spiced since I didn't use much. I enjoyed it! I had plenty of leftovers that I brought home.
The buffet bar: The shrimp did not appear properly deveined. I do not recommend the shrimp. I tried: spicy chicken , regular chicken, beef and pork. All were very good with my fried rice.
I found that I needed more light directly above my table. It was very dim. Overall, no other complaints. I am glad I tried Crazy Fire and had my own experience.
Crazy Fire was a quiet and offbeat vibe that I actually enjoyed. Two meals under $20 with leftovers is a real deal.

We went here because I've been really missing an old Mongolian bbq grill from home in Idaho. The food here was actually very good, but it was over $20 for one small bowl of basically just noodles and carrots (I rarely eat meat and their vegetable selection was very slim). They go by weight and I think the price was unreasonable. It was good though and if it was a bit less expensive, I'd definitely come back.

If only I could leave a review with zero stars! I went to this location on 9.11 that evening and fixed 2 bowls. Within a hour or so I went to eat my food to find a nice size piece of hair wrapped around my noodles after spending $29 for my meal. When I looked up the number to call the restaurant they were already closed. I called them the next morning soon as they opened at 11:00 am and asked for a manager. The manager gets on the phone and to confirm it was a manager I asked again, he said I’m the manager and what’s your point. I said hello I was in your restaurant on yesterday evening and when I began eating my food someone hair was cooked in my meal. He was extremely rude and said why didn’t you come back I told him the restaurant was already closed that’s why I’m calling you now. He said bring me the plate and hair so I can see it. So yes I’ll be going in there today with the food and his workers hair. Depending on how he handle these when I get there will determine if I make a higher up call!
We are super regulars at the Spring Forest location. Yesterday the cook went out of her way to bring my physically challenged friend's meal to the table for her. She also especially prepped the cooking surface since my friend has a severe alphagal allergy to meat. They go above and beyond. 10 stars instead of 5!!!

I just wanted to get on here and let everyone know its NOT all you can eat. 1 bowl is 13.99 and you can add an extra one for $3. It was alot of food and it was really good, but stay away from the spicy chicken. I had to ask for white rice to cool it down a bit. Service was good as well.
Busy day for us, i had an hour to take my wife somewhere nice for an early dinner. We arrived around 530pm (early dinner time), it felt like I was walking on the sun! It's a very dark empty restaurant with the HEAT cranked to 100 degrees! The air was so thick and hot i instantly got nausea. The Lady at the front desk (pouring sweat) was extremely nice! I feel like this could be a nice place if someone put a little love and air conditioning into it. Food was about the same quality and portions you would get from the mall food court (no hate, big fan lol). Only DOUBLE THE PRICE, even higher if you choose to dine in (on the sun). We got the food to go because of the heat. I had to sit in the car while we waited, due to heat . This was our first and probably last time here. Another concern... all the meat is raw... in a room over 100 degrees... do with that what you will.

This place on Capital Blvd Raleigh has fallen off. They used have a male cooking . He was very clean and efficient. Rice was delectable. But this last visit was not even mediocre. My and son rice was on the hard side. I watched the young lady cook my food and the grill was not clean . She put my food on spot on the grill that was not a smooth clean surface . I watched her the entire time. My son's Noodles were cooked too hard. My food basically looked dirty and it tasted dirty. The waitress who was very nice went to get the manager who basically stood me down that they clean the grill and was going back and forth with me. At this point I was pissed . I offered to pay any way because I didn't come to get a free meal. I just wanted a good meal. But this lady was in my face . I told her I can pay and that I wouldn't be coming back here again.
