Best places to Hidden Gem. Their Grandma pie is definitely amazing thin crispy and super flavorful. This is definitely not the type of pizza that you can find in North Carolina
Every time I visit Raleigh I stop by. Great food, great people
Absolutely delicious! The bruschetta is to die for. Will definitely be coming back!
Our waiter was lovely, our food was great. Being a Brooklyn native, we were so happy to find a place that had great Italian food and even great service! I forgot the young man’s name but he was great. We will be coming back!
Cristo's has the best cheesesteak sub I have ever had. The meatball sub and pinwheel were a hit, too. The home-made bread makes all the difference!
I finally found a great pizza spot! I ordered the grandma's pizza and added sausage and a white pizza and both were delicious. The pizza sauce had lots of flavor and the dough was perfect, not hard or chewy.
I’m only writing about the food because I got it to go. I won’t comment on service or atmosphere. I really was craving a good Bolognese sauce and decided to give this restaurant a try. Bad idea. I’m used to the meat being cooked long and reduced down to a very small tender texture. This sauce was as if they had hamburgers and decided to reuse them and break them up into a sauce. Who wants big chunks of solid meat in a bolognese? The flavor was not horrid, but certainly not very good, and certainly not the flavor profile I was after. I ate a very tiny portion of it and the rest will likely go to waste and I really hate wasting food. Came with bread and a salad. The bread was just a hunk of a bland loaf, served up cold with absolutely NOTHING on it, nor anything like olive oil or garlic butter included. No cheese was offered at all. I suppose I shouldn’t have assumed that things were in the bag with my order. I did ask for silverware as that was not included. I got it, but nothing else. Maybe I just chose the wrong dish, but after spending that amount of money for a meal for just myself, I probably wouldn’t run the risk of trying this again.
Fantastic pizza. The New York style is great but the Upside Down Sicilian is our favorite. Light airy focaccia/like crust, and very cost-effective. Had the MVP Sicilian tonight and minds were blown.

Picked up a take out order. Order was ready on time. Pizza was great. Used to eat lunch here a few years ago when I worked in Raleigh and it was great then, and that hasn't changed. Still great food.

Normally I leave a more detailed review. However nothing super bad or spectacular about my visit or the service. Food was good the atmosphere is lackluster. I wish it had a cozy, welcoming feel to it … that would be great for a small Italian restaurant. It’s close to where I live so I wish it was a bit better. Next time, I might just order food for takeout.
I’ll update as needed end. I go back.

Just ate here for the first time. I had the Dijon Chicken and shrimp and my wife had a penne pasta dish. We both were super impressed especially after moving back to Raleigh after many years so many other restaurants have not been very good.
Best pizza & pasta in the south, coming from the north east.
