Stop by for morning coffee and Thai tea. Smell in the shop is sooooo good. They sell huge selection of coffee beans. Variety of drinks is impressive. Courteous staff. Free parking in the back. Few outdoor tables.

Ever since boycotting this has been my go to coffee shop. love their iced lattes & their espresso tastes so fresh and good!

Great place to do work, study, or meet friends. The coffee has a burnt taste 50% of the time (they roast their own beans so I give it a pass) and the bacon egg and cheese bagels are only okay, but they’re the only non-chain coffee place that has sizes bigger than 12oz on this side of Raleigh. Prices are reasonable, great service, and they have big cookies.

best latte ever, grande with an extra shot of espresso. saw bagels on the menu and thought, great! boy was I wrong, over toasted everything bagel, a pitiful self serve cream cheese cup and a plastic knife. the cream cheese tasted like sour milk. if the owner responds, I'll take this down, but I read another one star review that listed the cream cheese. Go to NY Bagels on falls of nueuse Rd for bagels, not here. if you can't do it right don't do it

Worst coffee I’ve ever had. Their drinks are way too sugary. Good smoothies

I make a point to visit every independent coffee shop when I travel out of town/state and Cup A Joe has consistently remained my favorite. The service is incredibly efficient and kind and they have even memorized my order! Best espresso I’ve ever had as well. These people are the real deal and I’d choose them over any coffee shop any day.

Hannah and the cupajoe team are awesome! They’re always friendly/helpful and they consistently have the best coffee. You don’t have to worry about who’s working and deal with different variations of the same drink. Day in day out you can count on cupajoe!

Found this place after I started boycotting Starbucks. Absolutely amazing! They have endless options for all the coffee lovers. Quick service, friendly staff! Prices are very fair and one of the cheapest coffee shops in the area. Coffee tastes great too! So glad I found this place.

I get my coffee beans from here. Love the Ethiopian Sidamo best, but they have lots of great options. I didn't get liquid coffee this time, but they are good at that too!

I can't believe that in the 5 years I have been visiting Hillsborough Street, this is the first time I have visited Cuo A Joe. Fabulous coffee and a wonderful vibe. Must visit.

Kind service! I ordered Hong Kong tea and it was too sweet for me than I expected(it was my first time to visit here). I asked to address it, and they kindly remade another tea for me.1-hour free parking available in the backyard / 15 minutes for customers to pick up and to go.
