Picked up Veal Parmigiana, terribly disappointed. The breading on the veal was so thick and the veal was dried out. The sauce was tangy and tasted terrible. There was not enough sauce to cover the pasta.

Dantes is by far an AMAZING place to eat! Danny and his wife Randi are two of the kindest most supportive people. What makes them the best is their support for the arts and independent filmmakers. They not only allowed our production to film there, they went ABOVE AND BEYOND with the hospitality while also bringing in some of their own regulars to be featured as extras. It was truly an experience of a lifetime and we cannot wait to work with them again!!! NC is big on the arts and it’s amazing to see businesses support LOCAL ARTISTS! The food is wonderful. I haven’t had anything bad from there! I’m fact Danny gave me some soup when I had a cold. They even gave us a signature cocktail called the Blind Date! Check them out in Blind Date releasing the end of this year! What makes them even more special is the fact that I have been going here since I was a kid!

Pizza Review Time Grandmas style pizza & pepperoni pizza Grandmas style pizza breakdown Crust- very good flavor almost as good as Di Fara'S in Cary However, severely undercooked crust, undercarriage was pale and the center of the pizza was just barely cooked enough. 3 stars for crust because it was undercooked, Sauce- 5 star flavor man this pie had flavor! Cheese - excellent job also 5 stars no greasy freaking really good. I will try again and ask for extra crispy maybe even slight char . This pizza is in my top 10 places for pizza it could have made it to my top 3 if the crust was cooked properly.

I have ate here many times, but I haven’t been since the pandemic. I ordered the lasagna which has always been my personal favorite from here, boy was I disappointed. It was SO much grease. I should’ve asked them to bring me a plate more recognizable, considering it looked nothing like lasagna. It was very expensive and definitely not worth the price, I sadly will never spend another dime here.

Had Valentine's dinner here last night, hadn't been here in a couple of years, but enjoyed it then so we thought it would be great again. I was very disappointed!! The food and drinks were awful!! Our eggplant appetizer was like a pile of under cooked eggplant and cheese, my drink came out incorrect both times and the second time I gave up and drank it anyways hoping things would get better. My meal came out which I ordered the Alfredo and it was so soupy and had a brownish color to it and the chicken in it tasted freezer burnt. My husbands meal was the chicken and sausage pasta which was mediocre, not worth the price. My husband spoke with the owner and he said to us that there had been set backs since covid!!! We are in 2024!! If they are going to charge high prices, then I expect better quality food. We were so upset that our Valentine's dinner was ruined and it was if they could care less. Definitely will not be back. I will say however that our server Nicole was very nice.

This place is incredible! I had the Dante's Inferno pizza which was probably the best I've ever had. Not only was it spicy, but it had several different kinds of spice. They also made a specialty drink for the film I'm in called, "The Blind Date," which incorporated a small light in the actual drink! But the best part of all was the seemingly ENDLESS cheese strand in their calzones. It was the closest thing to tasting Heaven I've had in a while. My back was to the wall when I was holding this, it was amazing! This place truly is the table where memories are made.

But the best part of all was the seemingly ENDLESS cheese strand in their calzones. It was the closest thing to tasting Heaven I've had in a while. My back was to the wall when I was holding this, it was amazing! This place truly is the table where memories are made.

Food and service are excellent. Restaurant is a little loud with tables very close together. It would be a good investment to install a two-door vestibule to make things more comfortable on winter nights. But a very good restaurant, overall. We have been there several times and will be back.

The food was good but a little bland. The tomatoes in the mozzarella caprese salad were bad quality. Service was friendly with the waitress. The bartender didn't seem really thrilled to wait on us for drinks. The restaurant is small but quaint.
