Definitely book a reservation ahead of time. Great food and kind and fast service.

I love this place. The food never disappoints, service is always reliable, and the eclectic atmosphere makes you feel like you’re in a Mexican Wed Anderson movie.

Only reason I give this place 4 stars is because of how hard it is to get a walk in table! Expect to wait at least an hour, even for a 2 person table, if you don’t have a reservation.

I was really looking forward to trying this place—the aesthetics are absolutely breathtaking, and the moment I walked in, the vibes made me feel like I was back in Mexico. The decor, the music, even the smell—it all had so much potential, and I was genuinely excited.

Unfortunately, as a Latina who grew up in a Mexican household and has traveled throughout Mexico, the food was really disappointing and didn’t taste authentic at all. I was hoping it would be one of those hidden gems, but it just didn’t live up to that expectation.

The service was friendly, and I truly appreciated the atmosphere they’ve created, but the food simply didn’t deliver. Nothing I tried made me feel like I’d want to return. I really wanted to love this place, and I hope they revisit the menu in the future to better reflect the incredible flavors of Mexico.

Incredible! Everything from the decor, staff, food, and even the live chickens made it a great experience.

My favorite place to go in the triangle for tacos or any Mexican/TexMex food. Been going for many years and never disappointed!

Great food every time I've been there. The bar makes great drinks and the food is consistently good. A unique restaurant in Raleigh that I would recommend to anyone.

We LOVE their Monday night specials! Half price appetizers at the bar and $2 off house margaritas! Great quality food, Sara, and Sam are great bartenders!

Dietary restrictions: They were more than happy to accommodate my wife's dairy allergy and make her a plate without dairy!

Great atmosphere, really fun and funky decor. Kind staff. They were super busy on a Monday night which just goes to show how good the food is. Delicious house salsa! Thin and crispy chips. Steak tacos are amazing! We loved the fried ice cream. I love it here

We unfortunately had an unpleasant experience here. We made reservations for a table of 7. When we got there, the table wasn't ready at the time we requested (we waited an extra 15 min, but no big deal) we were then seated at a table of 6 and we felt very crammed since we had 2 infants with us also.
After asking for a bigger table the manager, Melanie basically came over and explained how there's nothing she can do and it's our problem that we didn't order a table for 9 people (because of the 2 babies). I then told her that we werent aware that was needed since some places require that and some places don't, and it wasn't noted on the website to count infants under 1 years old, and still we are 7 people on a 6 place table. To make a long story short I basically took responsibility for only making a 7 person's reservations and just asked if she'd be willing to keep an eye open for a table for us, but she wasn't willing to do so and said we can sit outside and wait 40 minutes for a bigger table outside. She was very unpleasant and passive aggressive to say the least. And besides that, the waitress practically threw one of the plates in front of us on the table . The place was very loud and busy and there was a harsh smell of fried oil. I hope the place sees this as constructive criticism and that even if the place was super busy, the manager could still be polite and hey! Maybe even nice (!) next time to other people. It's not our fault the place was packed or that she was maybe having a bad day.
Good luck!
