I was having an emotional morning coming from the NC Veterinary Hospital and came into Drift in a bit of a fog. Despite us asking far too many questions, Brianna was incredibly patient, very friendly, and extremely helpful. Everyone working there was kind and complimentary and the food itself was fantastic. Coming in was truly a positive note in a difficult day. I look forward to coming again in the future.

This was our first time visiting Drift and our experience was amazing! Our server Brianna was incredibly patient with our many questions regarding the menu. We interacted with two other employees that were also very nice and welcoming. The breakfast burrito was terrific! They also served a nice green tea. The restaurant is bright and open. I really enjoyed the variety and uniqueness of their menu. I can't wait to go back and try several other things!

Update: Three time diner. One of the best places in Raleigh for a great cup of cappuccino – plus FIVE STARS for the food and service at Drift Cafe's new location at Ridgewood Shopping Center. The menu is excellent; food sourcing quality is top notch; great service; fast in the kitchen; free parking; indoor and outdoor seating. MY favorite dish is the breakfast bowl. The owners completed installation of sound baffles in the dining area; noise level is better now and lower volume on the music. Drift Cafe is also FIVE STARS and one of my favorite dining options at Wrightsville Beach. See our meal photos including Cappuccinos.

OMG where have you been all my life. Lived in New Zealand for a decade and have not had as good a breakfast until Drift. Molly was best server, friendly, constantly checking on us. Had the big Brekie with poached eggs, bacon, best crispy potatoes ever, great toast, delectable mushrooms. Flat white was perfection. Will be back at least once a week! This cafe is a treasure!!!

Kid-friendliness: Lots of families come here. They are accommodating and have a few high chairs.

Drift Cafe is a breath of fresh air in Raleigh! The interior is airy and modern, with a welcoming vibe that’s perfect for relaxing or catching up with friends. I tried their avocado toast, which was topped with fresh ingredients and packed with flavor – one of the best I’ve had! Their coffee is smooth and perfectly brewed, and the latte art is a nice touch. The staff is warm and attentive, making sure you feel taken care of. It’s clear they put effort into every detail, from the menu to the decor. Drift Cafe is definitely a new favorite spot for brunch or coffee dates!

Vegetarian options: Many options that are very tasty for vegetarians.

Amazing food and service! It gets crowded on weekends, but that's because it's good! I recommend the chicken wrap.

We loved this spot when it first opened and frequently returned for the Nutella stuffed French toast. However, now three times we have had to send the French toast back because it has ZERO Nutella in it. This last time was the fourth time and it was to go, so no turning back there. Even when we sent it back to the kitchen in restaurant last time, it came back the EXACT SAME WAY - NO Nutella. Really disappointing because we loved this spot.
