Decent tacos, definitely a lot of food. Carnitas were a bit dry because they fried it, but tasty. Fried mahi tacos were great, but would have been better grilled. Good queso and salsa. Rice and beans were good. Service has been dreadfully slow both times I visited. I’d visit again because I’d like to try more items.
Meeting friends for dinner on a Saturday night was very pleasant at Driftwood. I had the Pasta Poblano with Grilled Shrimp. The food arrived quickly and piping hot. Really delicious Mexican food. I was a little confused by the Google description (which says Southern food) and the reviews that mention Southern food, but I guess this used to be that type of restaurant? However, we came for the Mexican food and were not disappointed! The guacamole was especially flavorful and fresh, and the fajitas were the favorite dish from our table. Margaritas were amazing--especially the cilantro jalapeño one!
