Tonight was our first visit—and definitely our last.
As soon as we walked in, we were overwhelmed by a strong, unpleasant chemical odor, similar to paint thinner. It was so intense that it gave me an immediate headache, and we had to step outside just to breathe.
Ordering is done through a QR code system outside, which felt impersonal and inconvenient. Nearly everything comes with an up-charge—$1 to substitute arugula with shredded lettuce, $2 for avocado, which turned out to be the pre-packaged, mashed kind you can buy at the grocery store. Despite the customizations, my sandwich still came with arugula.
In the end, I paid $17 for a sandwich that didn’t even reach mediocre. Between the odd ordering process, excessive charges, and unbearable indoor smell, there’s really no reason to return.
Falan with Offline - The service was exceptional. Greeted by the cashier and everyone was pleasant.
I really enjoyed my Burrata Balsamic Grilled Chicken. The sandwich had Grilled Chicken Breast, Burrata, Arugula, Tomato, House Balsamic & Pesto Aioli (nut-free) on a soft Sesame Roll. Very tasty. I could tell this was prepared with fresh ingredients. I would’ve liked more meat but beside that I enjoyed the sandwich.
Cool spot in Raleigh to chill and let the kids see all the happenings happen. Super friendly staff with delicious sandwiches. What else do you need??
Came for the homemade mozzarella sticks and they were very disappointing. I’m not sure how fried cheese could be this bland but these were. The cheese was mushy and no taste in the breading. Also ordered the eggplant parm sandwich. The bread was mushy and overall very bland. Will not be back.
Overall I would still recommend. Only disappointment was the bread. The sesame seed bun was a bit tough. Most the sandwich pushed out the sides when biting into it.
Will try again. May have been an off day and some older buns.
The Philly McSteak was awesome and the fries are amazing. Great quality.
My husband got extremely upsetting news so I offered to take him here for lunch after having such a great experience at the Durham location. The online ordering would not let us add anything to our cart, even drinks. I went up to order and the girl extremely rudely told me they only had 1 piece of chicken left so we couldn’t both order chicken sandwiches- which is half their menu. It would’ve been fine if someone had bothered to tell us when we came in or during the time we tried to figure out ordering on our phones and if she hadn’t been the rudest customer service person I’ve ever met. I asked for a manager and explained everything to the lead. She got the gm and I had to explain everything for a third time. She was extremely condescending and wanted to argue with every single thing I said. I told my husband “lets go” and the gm started coming out from the behind The counter and following us out. I had already told her we weren’t eating there and I just wanted them to tell people that their menu is not available. All 4 people I spoke to there were confused about why we were upset. We drove all the way from Clayton and this was the last thing my husband needed today. We’ll drive the extra 20 minutes to Durham, if at all.
Their sandwiches are consistently outstanding

The worst place I have ever been to. Staff is friendly and tried to make it better. Chicken parm was awful, thick and soggy cutlet, served with cold mozzarella cheese, sauce has no flavor and bread sucks. Seats are not comfortable, menu is overpriced, dine in orders VIA a QR code and app.
I have never disliked a place so much in my life

Bad experience! Generally the food is good especially the mozzarella sticks. My bf enjoys the cheesesteaks! This experience not so much. They were out of the mozzarella sticks so I decided to try the buffalo cauliflower and hush puppies. The hush puppies were burnt. Nothing special about the buffalo cauliflower. Sweet potato tots mediocre at best. Large curly fries did not have a curl at all… only end pieces. Just very disappointing. $65 wasted

I had the Balboa and I got to say it was a really good Cheesesteak sandwich. I’m excited to come back and try some of the other sandwiches that they have. I did have some trouble finding the restaurant at first because I had never been to Raleigh Ironworks, but all I had to do is follow my nose and it led me to the Heavenly Eastcut Sandwich Bar!

These sandwiches are super tasty. The torta milanese is really good, parm was delish, and the Mcsteak was awesome. Only criticism is some of the round rolls are a bit dry. Would be 5/5 if they could have fresher tasting bread.

I get cravings for these sandwiches they're so good. They have a ton of vegetarian options, and I love the avacado caprese and the chicken parm with the meatless cutlet. So good! My boyfriend likes to eat the cauliflower wings with me, and has tried several of their meat options and likes all of them. Highly recommend to vegetarians and meat eaters alike :)
I will say that this place often has a long wait, which isn't great if you're hungry but if you plan to go in advance its worth it. Their prices are pretty on par with most restaurant sandwich prices, except for the fact that your sandwich does not come with a side as they do at most spots. Sandwiches are meant to have sides, so I do find that to be a little disappointing. They do offer sides for an additional cost, but I have yet to try them. While I do think improvements could be made in these little areas, overall I believe this is a great spot for anyone who's nearby! I have never been disappointed by the quality or flavor of the food.

Got the Dagwood. World's most underwhelming sandwich. Even the 'soft' roll was anything but. Every bite squeezed the sandwich contents out the sides no matter what I tried. Turkey was bland and bacon was cold. Second time I've been here (close to work) but that's it, I've had enough. Not spending $13 for a shitty sandwich anymore. This place is trying to be some "cool" restaurant when all people really want is a sandwich shop with good food. Skip.
