Texas Fajita was the bomb. Steak chicken and shrimp and a margarita to wash it down.

Customer service was excellent and the food was even better. The prices are quite economical too!

.. it was ok.
Our server was very very friendly and took care of the table in a great way.
The food was a 2.5 out of 5 it lacked flavor. The portion was very small- I had a Beef Quesadilla it came with a little bit of rice and a little lettuce.
The booth was clean(ish) I sat on the wall side and it could have been cleaner for sure.
It's not that I'd never go again, but if I have a choice I probably would look for a different lunch spot.

I ordered the burrito, refried beans and a small salad, all on the plate. My burrito had burnt onions and the chicken was a bit burned. The burrito was dry and there was nothing else inside of it to make it moist. The refried beans portion looked like a tablespoon size and the the bit of salad was watery. I was not able to finish anything on my plate. I have been coming to your restaurant every time I come to Raleigh. After my disappointing meal I had on Tuesday I will not be coming back.

Awesome wait staff... it's in my top 3 Mexican restaurants. It may be my favorite.

I ordered what is shown in the photo below and it was flavorless, nothing had flavor just chunks of dry beef with some onions and cilantro sprinkled over it

Don’t order delivery from this establishment, apparently they don’t even verify the person grabbing the food to go is a delivery person. We waited and waited for our food to arrive, it went through 4 delivery people before we realized someone had already taken the food. We called and were immediately placed on hold, when the manager finally got back to us he was very rude and hung up on us mid sentence! Never again

A couple of weeks ago, my friends and I visited El Tapatio on New Bern Ave, and let me tell you—this place knows how to serve up a fiesta on a plate! From the moment we walked in, the warm and colorful atmosphere set the tone for a great evening. The service? Friendly and attentive. Our server made sure our chips and salsa were always full (a must, in my opinion!) and was quick with recommendations. Speaking of food—wow! Everything was fresh, flavorful, and generously portioned. The fajitas sizzled like a mini firework show, the enchiladas were rich and satisfying, and the margaritas? Let’s just say they didn’t skimp on the good stuff! If you’re looking for a casual, authentic Mexican spot where you can relax with friends over great food and drinks, El Tapatio is a solid choice. We left full, happy, and already planning our next visit. Pro tip: Come hungry, and don’t skip the queso! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Would definitely return! Let me know if you’d like any tweaks!

Part of my order was missing and instead of driving back in the rain, I asked for a credit or partial refund. The manager’s response was that they did not miss anything and I must be wrong.
