While we love having a vegetarian option while in town, the dishes we had were underwhelming. The main protein sources were tasty (veg chicken) but the vegan cheeses and tofu that accompanied them were not the best. There was not much seasoning in the tofu, and the vegan cheese had the typical odd taste that cheese eaters would recognize. Drinks were tasty though, and the atmosphere was nice.

The taste of *mostly* everything was great! I got the hot honey mini chicken biscuits with home fries and the taste was there. The biscuits with chicken itself was pretty dry and there was barely any hot honey included. I asked for more and they charged me $1 extra. Just kind of stung when the sandwiches actually needed the extra dressing. The home fries tasted really good, except they could have cooked a little longer. They were pretty underdone and squishy. My butterfly effect cocktail was pretty watered down and was overall pretty bland. On a whim I ordered some choc chip cookies and they just weren’t for me. They had the wrong kind of chewy texture and just didn’t suit my palate. The umaro bacon was great! My mom got the French toast and her only critique was that the fruit that came with the toast was very tart and the compote was not sweet enough to combat the tart fruit. Service was pretty quick with friendly staff. Despite everything today, I’ll definitely be back!

Excellent experience. Attentive staff, delicious food, and very good atmosphere. This was despite a very loud festival going on outside the restaurant.

Came here for a date night but have also been here for lunch with my in-laws and neither time disappointed. Great menu with lots of tasty options, as well as great drink menu and selection! Rotating seasonal specials and cocktails.

Amazing food! I had the nachos, Philly cheese steak with onion rings and peanut butter cheesecake. Unfortunately when we went it was pouring out so we didn't get to enjoy the outdoor seating but that looked really nice. Took off 1 star for service because it took a long time at the end to get our bill but our waitress was great overall.

I do not recommend Element. I went last year to celebrate my birthday and the food was fine but this year was horrible. I am vegan but my husband is not. I wanted to go back to Elementary for my birthday lunch on July 24th and it was a great disappointment. He order a burger and fries which he said was good. I ordered the Philly cheesecake with malt fries and the sandwich was horrible. The texture was soft and mushy nothing like the texture for sliced steak. I would recommend Element to use a commercial brand since they obviously don't know how to create the proper texture in house. This was my last time at Element. I will be driving to Greensboro or Charlotte next year, where I know it will be right every time. The AC was extremely high making it very cold. I had to go back to my car to get a sweater. The server had no personality. I really regret going to Element for my special day, NEVER AGAIN. This was a total waste of $50

I had the kale caesar wrap and it was very tasty and filling, however I think it could have used a bit more dressing. But overall it was quite nice!

Went here with my best friend for their trap brunch and absolutely loved it! I love that even though they were playing our favorite trap music (the had a great DJ) it wasn't so loud that we couldn't think or talk with each other. We sat at the bar and Victoria took care of us the whole time and had great service. Even the other waitresses and the hostess walere nice and engaging with everyone even though we were at their tables. The food was amazing! It wasn't until we were over halfway through with our food that we realized it was mainly vegan, and that's only because I noticed the spelling on the meats was different when I looked back at the menu 😅. The drinks were really good too! Will definitely be back!

100% vegan, large menu to choose from, friendly staff, good drinks, and excellent food. My go-to here is the Kale Caesar Salad, and I add grilled buffalo chicken to it. I love it! The most recent time we went we also tried the BBQ nachos which were also great! My fiancée usually gets one of the burgers, and the chikn sandwiches are also very good!

Stopped here after a friend's engagement party a couple blocks away and it really hit the spot. I was pretty full when I went in but the food was good enough that I ended up eating a second dinner.

The FOOD is extraordinary. I am not vegan, but we have now visited a second time FDR on out of town within three months. That's pretty good, I'd say. With tip, we broke $200 easily. The Tuscan artichoke dish was too spicy. But, onion rings!!!! Hot damn! And, chix sand and Filly cheezstak and shroom hoagie were stellar! Peanut butter pie and apple pie with ice cream were priced high, but I swam in double the sea of tranquility and delight! Three words: DEE LISH US!!! While our waitress was more than a bit absentee for most of the evening, another server or server assistant took my order for my second beer. And, SHE asked on status a couple of times. We had to ask our server for our one water refill. These seem small, and as it was a mini-reunion we were quite chatty, but what “got my goat” was the bringing of the check without asking for dessert orders. It was then that we asked for water refills to our glasses. This ninety-minute “second glass of water” action is very likely not policy. Anyway, some managerial training will sort out the five steps of service, but if she had some place to be before they even closed then I wasn't please with her. STILL, I doubled the suggested 23% tip. Sixty bucks for two hours! You have to take care of people and lead the way. #nottobepetulant Looking forward to our next visit AND to Marian, a NEW sister restaurant!
