Really cool spot that you almost wouldn’t expect to be all vegan if you didn’t know. In fact, 2 guys walked in, sat down and left when they realized it was all plant based. Their loss, BIG TIME. Great food, cool atmosphere and super friendly staff. One of the best burgers I’ve ever had. And the desert was top notch as well. Would love to come back and try more. We got daily specials and each was better than the last, just incredible depth of flavor!

Love everything about this place,food, staff, and vibe.

Went here after a tradeshow for a late lunch. I had the voodoo burger and the Philly cheesesteak. Both were excellent

Hey Hey!! Found another plant base restaurant in Raleigh NC called Element pub. Great plant base options like Chik-n burgers, vegan Nachos( which are the best!! Our server Natalia is friendly, very patient and knowledgeable about the menu!! Atmosphere is excellent!! No complaints!!!

The patty melt was insane - SO good. The fries were also perfect, some of the best I’ve had anywhere. If I lived in the area this would be a new regular spot for me. Our server Zak did great and was very kind!

To all those who may not catch this on the sign walking in when you’re wandering around Raleigh: although the menu items say they’re chicken, shrimp, beef items…. IT MOST CERTAINLY IS NOT!!!! To all those meat lovers: DO NOT make the mistake of going here and figuring this out after taking your first bite. We were totally catfished by the menu. Maybe if you’re vegan you’ll like it, but trust me if you like meat… you won’t. Ewwww…. Bummer for the expensive mistake we learned - $45 for basically untouched food. :/

Response to the restaurant’s comment of my review:

First off, I admitted it was our mistake to have even walked into your restaurant. I do truly regret it. It was a warning to other meat loving people since it’s NOT really obvious on your sign or menu. It was quite a bummer to pay your exorbitant bill for something we hardly touched. Your menu only says “plant-based” in teeny tiny letters above the restaurant name. Each item listed never even hinted that it wasn’t real meat. For example, the “chicken” sandwich I ordered listed it as “grilled chik’n” which we thought was just a cute way of naming your sandwich as many other restaurants sometimes come up with cute names for their food. Nowhere did it say “tofu-based chicken” or “plant based chicken” or some other description that made you realize you weren’t ordering actual meat. The “burger” we ordered was listed as a BURGER, implying a real meat burger, not “plant-based meat” or some other description. (See pic for clarity on this). We wondered why the appetizer tasted so awful.. we thought it was just us having an off day. Nope. Turns out it was because wasn’t what we thought it was. Even when we pointed out our dislike of your food to your own waitress, her response to us was “yeah alot of people make that mistake coming here”. Which told us we weren’t BY FAR, the only ones who didn’t catch the minuscule “plant-based” words on your menu or outdoor sign during our dash through stormy weather into your doors. As I said above, if you’re vegan you might just like Element Gastropub, but if you like meat, you certainly won’t!!

We ordered onion rings as an appetizer and they arrived 5 minutes after our main course. They actually tasted good but were a strange burnt color and there were only 8-10 of them. The value of the rings didn't match the price. My wife ordered chardonnay and we found out after we ordered that they were out. Honestly, we would have left had we known this prior. We ordered the BLT burger with fries to split. They offered to cut it in half which was greatly appreciated. The fries were really good. However, the burger was not good. It was very thin for a restaurant burger. It was the same thickness as a fast-food hamburger. It was probably wider but unsure. The menue states it is 4oz. A 4oz patty is very small. It just wasn't good and not even close to sit down restaurant quality. I will never go back nor recommend this restaurant to anyone. In summary, the fries were good, the onion rings tasted good but visually were off, and the burger was bad. The ambiance was acceptable and the service met expectations. I wish I had pics, sorry.

Ordered Philly cheese steak. It tasted terrible. It also looked bad. The plant/meat had holes in it and was very rubbery. Sent it back to the kitchen and the owner refused to take it off the bill. Not only did he refuse to not charge me for the sandwich he was adamant that I pay for it when I had eaten only 2 bites.
I’ve never experienced this in any restaurant when someone had an issue with their meal.
I will never return to this restaurant not just because management doesn’t respect their customers but because the food is terrible and they aren’t proud of what they serve.

A bit expensive but the food was amazing. The rice and apparatus were so delicious the steak and shrimp was super tasty too! Nice cheesecake too! Super friendly staff!
