The most creative and gorgeous truffles in Raleigh!
Unique and delicious types of specialty individual chocolates and bars, drinking chocolate, coffee, ice cream and other treats. Very tasty!
A chocoholics dream! Love love love their dark chocolate hot cocoa!
My go-to for all things chocolate! I make my own hot chocolate at home (that is very popular with friends and family) and I ALWAYS buy EVERYTHING that comes from a sustainable AND ethical source when I have the money.
Also their hot chocolate is nothing to scoff at either. They also make hot chocolate the original way (with water) and chocolate from different regions of the world in the most historically-accurate way possible.
Escazu is just that. They work directly with cacao farmers in South America to source their chocolate AND make said chocolate in house!
They are always transparent with their process (which is much appreciated) and where the cacao is directly sourced from.
Also sells many made-in-NC products in shop too so you can support multiple local mom and pop shops in one place—and know exactly where your money goes!
If you have the means—SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS!!! They’re doing it the right way :)
A place to SAVOR and EXPERIENCE good flavors. I find myself enjoying every treat slowly & deliberately.
The best hot chocolate in the triangle by far.
Ordered for Christmas delivery to NY, and they came through with the most gorgeous assortment of chocolates! I didn't make it easy as I requested nut, gluten and alcohol free to accomodate everyone, but Escazu did an amazing job. Hate that they left Person St, but their new location is still close and it's a beautiful space.
Very subjective, but better chocolates than Videri.
Chocolates and ice cream. Not a bad selection. Worth returning to...
Bad, slow, service. Lots of staff present but orders take 10 minutes for basic coffee. Not worth the trip.

The peanut butter hot chocolate is now one of my very favorite things in the whole world!!!
Been going there for more than 15 years, they were the best. Since they moved to their new location it's changed, no push-up pops, not allowed to customize drinks, & doesn't seem the the same. They do have more products. But maybe not enough to make me drive 45 minutes for chocolates, ice cream & drinks.
We enjoyed our vanilla latte. There is a nice patio area for sitting outside. I can’t wait to come back and try their hot chocolate when it is a little cooler outside.
if you like margherita pizza get the hot basil latte its so jaw droppingly beautiful, my life is forever changed. also get their chocolates literally anything chocolate is good the Italy drinking chocolate! amazing! you are in a flower field all your worries are melting away into the chocolate soup! you have not had real chocolate until you've had escazu chocolates I promise you
Love the new space! 🫶
