Firebirds Wood Fired Grill

First it was a special occasion brunch so we wanted it to be special. But the server was lacking. She was friendly and trying to do a good job. But she was seemingly overwhelmed. So sadly we suffered. We had to ask for pretty much everything. Extra Napkins which never came. Refills asked for often. Long waits for drinks. Hot towel promised for finger food never came. Had to ask to remove plates. And so on. Just not a great experience for a $200 brunch bill. I left 18% tip but felt it was not close to the experience we deserved.

My senior mother and her four girlfriends ate at this restaurant yesterday and as my Mother started cutting up her strawberry salad, a huge 6 legged roach 🪳 came walking out of her salad!!! Disgusting! I am writing this review on my Mother's behalf. She or I will never eat here, ever. A $25 gift card was also thrown on the table towards my Mother from the Manager. No thank you! We won't be back and she threw that gift card in the trash.

Chloe was our waitress and she was amazing! I come here fairly often and she’s been the best service I’ve had in a long time. Although everyone is super nice but her customer service was superb. Thank you for making my night amazing! ❤️❤️❤️

I came here really excited My sister brought me here today for a birthday meal and sang their praises. We ate a late lunch so the restaurant was pretty empty at the time we were there! So I was caught off guard when our food came out cold. We politely asked if they could remake the burgers, because they did not seem very fresh! They did, no problem! Well my sister left and had diarrhea and I left and felt miserable for several hours before I finally vomited it back up! Unsure if it was the request to remake or something else but sadly we won’t be coming back! Katrina was super sweet, and did a great job serving us!

Went for a girls’ night and unfortunately it just didn’t live up to the hype. The atmosphere was honestly the best part — very nice vibe for a night out. Dessert was delicious (the crème brûlée cheesecake was definitely the highlight). However, the food itself was disappointing. I ordered the sirloin with garlic butter and cheesy potatoes. The steak lacked seasoning, and the potatoes seemed undercooked with very heavy cheese. Service was fine, but overall the meal just didn’t match the price point for me. I really wanted to love it, but I’d probably try somewhere else next time.

Karla gave us an amazing experience from start to finish. She was attentive, professional, friendly, and made sure everything came out perfect. Even while busy, she kept a great attitude and made us feel genuinely taken care of. You can tell she really cares about her customers and takes pride in her work. Definitely one of the best waitresses I’ve had in a long time — thank you, Karla!

We ordered a whole chocolate cake with ice cream and raspberry sauce over the phone two days ago for 4:30 pick up. We told that this was okay and the order would be ready along with the ice cream and raspberry sauce. For context, we’ve also ordered another whole chocolate cake two years ago for my birthday as well and that was fulfilled just fine. Unfortunately this time was different. When we went in to pick up they had no idea of our order - which was fine, things happen. I will say I didn’t appreciate that when trying to provide details of my order and get it fulfilled that it felt like I was rushed off by the host and the person at the to-go station. Not to mention that when I asked for the raspberry sauce (that I confirmed we’d receive when ordering on the phone), I was interrupted and told “I don’t know anything about your order, we don’t do this.” I understand orders getting lost and things becoming lost in translation, but this just left me feeling bummed. I love firebirds and I’ve always loved their cake, hence me ordering a whole cake for my birthday for a second time. However, over the months, I feel like the service has dropped considerably. Bonus points, I didn’t even get the ice cream that I ordered and confirmed I’d receive. After my experiences I figured that it’s not even worth it to try asking. I’m terribly disappointed

I have been to Firebird at North hill many times for lunch and I love it.

Last week my girlfriends and I , we went for lunch but We ordered dinner menu but we disappointed the food decoration which does not suit price. My plate was almost $50.

This was my 1st time here and I enjoyed myself and the food. Our waitress (Natalie) was a delight. She constantly made sure we were good to go and always had a smile on here face doing so. Her pleasantries made our dining experience great!!! You have to try the Philly Cheesesteak Egg Rolls, OMG, they are DELICIOUS!!!!

Our party of four recently dined at the North Hills Firebirds. We actually dine there every two weeks we like it so much. Firebirds is a chain group but it's a very good chain.

We each had different menu items, I had the onion rings and the Ahi super foods salad. The tuna was seared to perfection. The fresh bread is always warm and delicious. And I challenge anyone to find better onion rings. I've had several menu items over time and everything is always good.

We always get great service here, attentive but not too attentive, just right service. I highly recommend the Firebirds at North Hills!
