This was the first time we ate at the First Watch on Glenwood. The others we normally go to (Walnut, Lake Boone) are usually very consistent and good, which we'd expect for a chain. To say that the Glenwood location we went to had a rough day would feel like an understatement. The kitchen seemed fairly overwhelmed, although we still got our food in a reasonable amount of time (at least from our POV). My over easy eggs came out over hard, and I had several potatoes that were undercooked, borderline raw. The other person in my party had their cheese un-melted on their egg sandwich (forgivable, if the only issue), but then noticed that their mixed greens had fungus growing on some of the spinach (see attached picture). Will never go back - unfortunately, the other person had a bite of the greens before realizing they were bad... if they get sick, we'll be contacting the health department. Our server offered to adjust our check after we pointed out the greens as we were trying to leave; I appreciated the gesture, but I opted to just pay and leave.

Love the staff here and the way they take care of their customers. They’re very friendly and there is rarely ever a wait and if there is they make it as short as possible. The food is always amazing and just as good if not better every time I come here.

This breakfast was interesting in that once seated.It took fifteen to twenty minutes to get a server. Once we did...he was absolutely great. The initial impressions pretty much tarnished the experience. Wait people walked by us and never asked if we have been served or need water. To top it off...it was not busy.

My daughter and I had an early 8am breakfast so we weren’t really hungry but needed something healthy to start the day.We ordered coffee, Purple Haze Juice ( Lemon, cane sugar, butterfly pea flower tea and a hint of lavender), to eat we both ordered the Avocado Toast. (Thick piece of artisan whole grain bread with smashed avocado with sea salt and lemon and 2 eggs).As we sat and enjoyed our breakfast we saw other breakfast going out around us, the plates were large portions. Our coffee cups never saw the bottom of our cups even with the coffee craft at our table. The service is fantastic! The food is delicious. I would definitely recommend.
