This was a five star until it came to the end of my meal.

I had the soup and sandwich lunch with a morning meditation juice.

The Monterey club was very mellow but had soft bread. The tomato basil soup needed salt so I added it. With some pepper.

The juice was good but didn’t go with my meal. Ha ha. I waited until the end to drink it.

The server came by a couple of times, and then dropped off the check....

This restaurant is open only for breakfast/brunch and what a splendid brunch it was. They are well known for their pancakes, my selection being the ricotta pancakes with a lemon curd, I believe. It was incredibly delicious. Given this places popularity, their can be a bit of a wait. I would recommend calling ahead to check the wait and adjusting accordingly.

A go-to weekend place that I enjoy except for one thing that needs improvement. THEY NEED NOISE MUFFLING BAFFLES. With all the hard surfaces, it is overwhelmingly loud. My friends with sensory issues and or tinnitus have a hard time here. That makes it less enjoyable for me, to the point I’m looking for alternatives.
