The crispy sesame beef is excellent! 4 stars on the strength of the main entrees alone. Prices are a tiny bit steep but portions are generous.

I'd have to say, though, that not everything else measured up. The scallion pancakes didn't appear to be laminated at all and came out dense and chewy, which for all I know is a valid way to make them, but it's a far cry from the crispy layered version you can get elsewhere. My rice was also mushy, but this may have been a fluke.

Ok, just got food ten minutes ago and I’m immediately here to warn all of you. We’re going with 2/5 because the dumplings were edible and the low mein wasn’t bad, but everything else was remarkably bad. The reviews about the General TSO chicken are wrong, it’s quite terrible. Both the General Tso and Sesame chicken were among the driest heaps of chicken I’ve ever had. Think the turkey on National Lampoons Christmas Vacation. I can only imagine they recooked boneless wings from BWW to achieve this. The flavor is non-existent in both chicken dishes and the fried rice. It’s actually impressive they got a slight brown color in the rice with none of the flavor of the soy or butter. Like getting a 0 on an SAT is more difficult than passing, it has to be harder to not flavor fried rice than flavoring it. Impressive. The Sesame Chicken only tastes like the dusting of the sesame seeds poured on top. Maybe that’s the right way and literally every other restaurant on the planet is wrong. The General tso sauce must be all of the soy sauce that didnt make it into the fried rice without the peppers, rice vinegar, sesame oil, scallions, or anything else anyone has ever used in General tso. But yea the dumplings and lo mein get you a single star back.

I really, truly enjoy the food and have had great previous experiences but the way we were treated on the night of my daughter's graduation really left me, and her, upset. We made reservations six months prior, visited for a cocktail and appetizer three days prior, so you knew we were coming and we even updated your with the exact numbers and still on the night of our dinner we waited an additional 45 minutes beyond our reservation time, were sat at separate tables and made our experience sad. In addition, the larger private room you had that would have perfectly accommodated us you gave to a party of six. It will be hard for us to choose to come back.

Crispy beef is top notch.. try to get Frances as your server. She’s the bomb.

We went there as a group and we shared a bunch of appetizers and entrees. Everything tasted fresh and the dishes were abundant. We had the crab rangoon, dumplings, beef and broccoli, general Tao's chicken, chicken fried rice and vegetable lo-mein. They also have a nice selection of drinks and desserts. Our server was very attentive and provided good recommendations. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and would come back again.

We love this place! Great food and service! Calamari and lettuce wraps are great starters.

Had to sit at the bar for almost 15 minutes past our reservation. Waited 10 minutes for our server to come to the table. Food was excellent but not worth the lackluster service. I won't be going back.

I have been a Five Star patron for 20+ years, and tonight's portion sizes and quality of food were shocking and underwhelming. This meal was not worth $20 bucks! So disappointed.

Thanks for following up. It seemed like a thoughtful gesture to offer a gift certificate but after following up twice via email, as requested, I got no response. Disappointed yet sgain.

Ordered takeout tonight over $60 and got no rice with our meal that cost $18, got two orders of crab Rangoon that included none of the sauce that comes with it. The crab Rangoon was all crab and no cream cheese. Genuinely insane that for this price this is the food we got.

We have been coming to Fivestar for years. We love that they have a separate vegetarian wok and you cab sub most any dish with tofu or tempeh. ?The food is consistently good and Michelle is awesome. The veggie dumplings are our favorite, when featured...but also love the lettuce wraps, extra spicy! The sesame tofu is our kiddos favorite!!

Food was good although the server brought the wrong appetizer. Inattentive server—spilled water on table and floor (puddle)—never cleaned up. Parking lot had changed—no ticket validation anymore at restaurant. Service/food not as good as past visits.
