Great restaurant with good food and vibes. Easy parking and location. Service was very good and place was clean. Would return for sure.
Well the food was good, the service was pretty good, the prices were moderate however for the amount of money I feel like the surroundings may have been a little bit more luxurious. It was almost like a high-end cafeteria as far as the ambience was concerned. Other than that the menu was good you should try it!
Excellent food. Service very spotty. Two servers on duty, one working as bartender at the same time.
We were looking for a new restaurant to try close to home. Flask and Beaker popped up on open table with good reviews and they were totally justified. Easy parking, lovely hotel restaurant decorated for the holidays with comfortable seating. The service was excellent, our waitress checked in with us all the time and was really pleasant. We ordered wings and tempura avocado bites. Plenty to share for 3 people and scrumptious. Mains ordered were short ribs with garlic mash and roasted veg, salmon with risotto and the StateView Molecular Burger. The main meals came out a short time after we had finished our appetizers, so nice not to be rushed through a meal. All 3 mains were delicious, the short ribs were very tender, probably the best short ribs I have had in a while. We ordered from the cocktail menu the mule and the golden ratio, followed by wine and beer by the glass. All drinks arrived promptly and were yummy. Water was constantly refilled. We shared a dessert between the 3 of us as portions were a good size. The dessert was a flourless chocolate slice, also very yummy. Overall the food was fresh, well cooked, delicious and good value for money. The service was excellent. We will definitely be back to enjoy the food and service and also to view the lake.
In the StateView hotel. Only had the breakfast and it was delicious! Nice buffet with omelet and waffle station. A little pricey for I think 26 dollars, but I had breakfast vouchers because I’m a loyal Marriot member.

Had a great dinner. I love this restaurant/hotel! It was good to see familiar faces. Food was 10/10. Drinks always 10/10! My girls enjoyed their food and it was the perfect place for a group of 12! Can't wait to visit again soon.
This place has a great atmosphere with views of the lake. Brunch was good . The short rib eggs Benedict was excellent. Chicken and waffles were below average with dark meet instead of white breast. Service was good and live music a surprise addition.
The food was good, and the service was fine. Nothing spectacular but nothing out of whack either.
Great place for dinner. I thoroughly enjoyed my ribeye and my wife her filet. Great waitress with helpful recommendations.
We found Flask and Beaker while looking for places to have brunch. We didn't know what to expect since we found them online. Flask and Beaker is in the State View hotel on NC State's campus. We had an alumni and former professor with us so this was great for us. There were subtle NCSU items around the lobby. The food was great and we felt like we the portions were large for the price.

The ladies in the dining area were delightful! The food was excellent...especially the calamari, salmon and brussel sprouts. There are 2 outdoor firepit areas great for enjoying a cocktail after dinner. Looking forward to our next visit.
Before Covid 03/01/20. Went there for the first time. I had the Cajun Shrimp Chowder and Burger both were delicious. The chowder was so good I had to meet the chef who made it. He said it was his grandmother’s recipe. It was outstanding. Not sure if they sell it anymore. But they need to bring that back!

Amazing food & ambiance! We will be back. Only complaint is having to pay for parking in a hotel parking lot not in downtown Raleigh
Vibes were good, place was bright and clean. We got there right when they opened at 5:30. Kids liked the mocktails. We ordered three burgers and a kids Mac and Cheese. It took nearly 30 minutes to get our food after we ordered. Burgers were quite overdone, my kids was basically black. Mac and cheese was great. I would definitely go back, but not if in a hurry and maybe order your burger one step below the temp you prefer.
I stayed three days at the hotel and had breakfast every morning. Vonny was great host/server! She welcome with big smile and ask how I was doing. She was very courteous, friendly and made sure my order was perfect. Thank you Vonny!
