If you have eaten here, please check your final bills. They are changing tips. Mine was changed from $5 to $15 for a $20.55 bill. I’ve been calling them since they opened this morning and I’ve left a voicemail and sent an email and no one is responding.

Loved my omelette and especially the creamy grits (added cheese). Service was excellent. Because the place was packed it was really loud with each table trying to talk over their neighbors. If I lived here, I would eat here often.

Food was not good. My drink was terrible. This place isn’t cheap either. Great service and atmosphere. Attached is a photo of my macaroni for reference.

Scrambled eggs looked and tasted like hotel breakfast food. The potatoes were overly salted and not crispy but the service was great and so for that, I would try again.

Love this place whenever I'm in town. I don't recommend the chicken sausage patty because it's a bit dry. Other than that everything was good. A few small things were that we had already gotten our food but the waitress forgot to give us our free biscuits before our meals came and they also forgot one of our waffles.

Our 1st time in NC...My entire party was super impressed with the amount & choices of food they offered for brunch. I have always wanted to try a fried green tomato & it was delicious. I loved their complimentary biscuits & the main dishes were perfect! I wish I lived closer to visit again..

Their food is hit or miss, I’m guessing they were amazing pre covid and then quality went down while prices went up 3-4 bucks, and their initial momentum keeps their rating up.

Recently ordered the Freebird, which clearly lists eggs and grits on the online menu, but they modified it to remove eggs and sub the grits for potatoes without asking/notifying me. When I emailed them about it, instead of even an apology, I was told it “does not come with eggs, as stated on the menu.”

Maybe that’s what the in-house menu says, but that’s not what I’m ordering from, and when I sent them the screenshot from their own order form, they stopped responding.

I used to love this place. A few years ago, the food and service were fantastic, but recently, every visit has been a disappointment. The last time I went was the worst. When they brought out my fruit cup, as soon as it hit the table, everyone at my table saw hair wrapped all through it—and no one had even touched it yet! We immediately told the server, and they offered to bring a new one.

When the new fruit cup arrived - it was moldy! Absolutely disgusting. On top of that, the servers seemed sloppy and not well-groomed. This place has gone completely downhill, and I won’t be back.

I’m very saddened to see how this establishment is dealing with the bees that around the area. Bees are an essential part to our ecosystem and are some of the best pollinators. These poor bees are getting stuck and then slowly and I’m sure painfully die.
