Excellent professional service by employee Will in the Pasta section. However, his co-worker was confrontational, as she constantly tried to undermine my claim that the pasta was cold. Even when Will was in the back warming up the pasta, she tried unsuccessfully to engage me into an argument. She said that I was "making her look bad." This is the type of person Will has to work with on a daily basis? Poor Will.

Great place to get a well-balanced meal for the students, faculty, and staff of NC State. As a visitor, the food was very good. They have plenty of food to choose from. The lines for food are a little hectic, but you eventually make it through them.

Worst employee there working the front desk, old lady who always has the worst attitude and can’t do her job correctly. Charges me for a to go box when I have an unlimited block plan so I get a free to go box and then says I can’t get food or a to go box. Okay food, terrible professional staff. Definitely don’t recommend a meal plan when they won’t even let you eat

Buffet style, mostly self-serve. Decent grub, good atmosphere, staff is friendly (shoutout fist-bump lady). Better than most college dining halls I’ve been to. Would say Clark generally has slightly better grub but Fountain is more convenient for folks who spend more time on that side of campus.

This is a cafeteria within the school. If you stop by Lali, it would be a good idea to stop by at least once and have a meal while pretending to be a college student! The quality of the food isn't that good, but it's nice to be able to choose from a variety of options.
Fountain Dining Hall is the most average all you can eat buffet imaginable. It is full of options, but some of them will not be the most edible. The occasional case of bugs or mold in their fruit and vegetables and the chicken is regularly under cooked. If there is any type of fish or sea food I would stay away from it as it has caused multiple cases of food poisoning. If you are trying to feed a crowd quickly, sure this is a decent option.
Vegetarian options: There are not many options for dietary restriction throughout the day. Although they may have a few the most consistent would be the salad bar.
