The most hit or miss cafeteria/dining hall I've ever visited. I lived in Sullivan Hall my freshman year so naturally I visited Fountain for probably half of my meals. To their credit, they do some dishes really well but do other ones horribly. I still remember coming here for dinner after one of the worst days of my life and feeling tears form in my eyes because they only had hotdog buns and rice left. Check the menu before you come!

I was toasting my panini and the girl behind the counter kept giving commentary and judgement as I'm just trying to make my lunch.
Also the fried fish still has bones and I nearly choked on on. -- That's a lawsuit waiting to happen, since there isn't warning anywhere.

Excellent professional service by employee Will in the Pasta section. However, his co-worker was confrontational, as she constantly tried to undermine my claim that the pasta was cold. Even when Will was in the back warming up the pasta, she tried unsuccessfully to engage me into an argument. She said that I was "making her look bad." This is the type of person Will has to work with on a daily basis? Poor Will.

Great place to get a well-balanced meal for the students, faculty, and staff of NC State. As a visitor, the food was very good. They have plenty of food to choose from. The lines for food are a little hectic, but you eventually make it through them.
