I have ordered from them twice. Both times the cupcakes have arrived quickly, have been very well packaged and very fresh. I’ve tried the red velvet, lemon, stuffed peanut butter, and stuffed French toast. All have been delightfully full flavored. Keep baking up these creations.

This Smallcakes seems to have moved from the Hillsborough location to a building behind the UPS warehouse under the signage “Kitchen Archives”…a little confusing if you were looking for the Smallcakes signage so please note. They are only doing curbside orders and delivery it seems, you can’t go inside and it’s a little hard to find without contacting the business directly. From the outside it doesn’t look like a bakery, especially with the red “caution don’t enter” sign on the door. There is currently no signage and you can’t see where the items are being made. I think a bit more information about their temporary change on the website and possibly the door of the establishment would make this a more clear and satisfactory experience for the consumers. I’ve heard good things about Smallcakes which is why I traveled to go to the bakery, but it felt a little confusing and misleading without all the information being present, so I did decide to just purchase elsewhere.

Ordered delivery and the croissant club had a good taste but nothing special.Both my cupcakes were bigger than expected which is good since they were $4.50 each.Fresh and not too sweet. Now the smoothie strawberry/banana had a horrible taste because I used the paper straw they gave me! Luckily I had a plastic one available and after a few sips it tasted great. I know all about the environment but paper straws alter the taste of the drink and I'm not going for it. Glad I had a coupon for a free cupcake because this place adds up quickly and is very costly.

They have some of the best cakes in town. After doing about a dozen cake tastings I chose Smallcupcakes and Cake Factory for my wedding cake and I am so happy that I did! The cake was beautiful and most importantly, it was delicious!

7/16/22: I'm confused. Is this Smallcakes or nah? The inside of their cupcake box has the same polka dot design, but the cupcakes look different. Finding this place was like going on a scavenger hunt. All you see is an UPS industrial area. You'd never find it unless you call them. Drive into the UPS parking lot, go over the speed bumps, and you will end up at a white building where they will come out and take your payment for the cupcakes. You can call them to order over the phone or go online. Their online portal didn't work for me though. Anyway, we ordered 2 pink chocolates & 1 lemon. The chocolate cake left a weird taste in my mouth, but my son loved the lemon. The chocolate cake was a bit dry too. I did like their cute little touch on the packaging with the ribbon around the plastic bag & the thank you sticker. The customer service needs a little work because the lady taking the order and the payment wasn't very friendly. We went around 3:30 pm, so maybe she was ready to get off work. Who knows?I think I will go back if I don't feel like driving far for a cupcake. Otherwise, I'm going to the real Smallcakes.

Ordered from doordash. Absolutely phenomenal!! I ordered the Reese cup cake and the birthday cake cupcake and the very first bite was so moist ! And warm and was so smooth and just melted in my mouth . Every single bite after... was just as savory as the last . && don't even get me started on the icing ..ohh my goodness! It's like an explosion of extreme deliciousness in your mouth. I AM HOOKED!! Someone give this baker an award !! I can't get enough of the deliciousness in every bite!

Delicious cupcakes! However, the last time we ordered, we ordered birthday cake cupcakes and there were maybe two of six that were birthday cake flavor. The others were a different flavor. It won't deter me from trying them again, but I'm hopeful there won't be a repeat.

We stumbled across Smallcakes Cupcakery after our visit to Pullen Park on a beautiful Friday afternoon. The sales associate was really nice and inviting. She answered all of our questions about their shop and products. They had a nice frozen yogurt bar with a variety of flavors and toppings. The cupcakes were larger than most that Ive experienced which was a nice surprise. They were almost kinda cake like. They were nice and fluffy with just the right amount of icing. We had the Lemon Drop cupcake which had a nice shot of lemon flavoring in the center. We also had the Pink Vanilla cupcake that was very flavorful and enjoyable. The shop was clean, sanitized with all products properly covered. The sales associate was wearing a mask as well as gloves. Hand sanitizer was available. The outside tables were clean and welcoming. I really enjoyed my visit toe Smallcakes Cupcakery in Raleigh over near NC State. #eatingwithseanandre Its Gon Be Dope!
