Fun DipPot - Instant Hot Pot

A few days ago. I ordered food to go. The female cashier was incredibly rude with her poker face the the entire time and didn't even bother to answer my question. I eventually realized it was likely because I didn't leave a tip. Look, I always tip at least 20% when I dine there, but for a simple takeout order? This experience was terrible, and I will not be returning, nor would I recommend this place to anyone else.

Excellent food including make your own hot soup bowl with meat/veggies.

The place is a little small, so be careful if you've got a big group. The food was delicious and ordering 1 bowl was big enough for 2 adults! It was a fun time for my daughter and I.

DEFINITELY QUESTIONABLE PRACTICE EXISTS.
It makes me mad just thinking about it - my friend likes to come here so I’d come with her. The first time we came, there was a fly in my noodles. I thought that was gross but honestly didn’t say anything about it. The ingredients sometimes have a chemical taste, which I think is there to prevent the food from rotten (if you’ve been there you know how they have their food exposed in the air, and normally some food are so perishable that they wouldn’t be able to sit for a day not refrigerated).
What drove me mad to write this review is my realization today, that they will secretly change your bowl! The speed they deliver their meal is impossibly fast. My girl accidentally grabbed too much food today which costed 50 dollars. When they brought the food out to her, the weight of the meal reduced at least half! Thinking back, they probably took out a lot of what she ordered. I’ve been there a lot before so I hate to say this, but I’m never going back ever again. And I will advise all my friends and everyone who might come to not do so.

Ordered food deliverey. The hotpot seems to be leftovers. Not enough amount and some food looks like being eaten by someone. Will not order again

I have been here on multiple occasions but today my food was sooo messed up. First, they didn’t give me the udan noodles I paid extra for. They used the wrong soup spiciness (I ordered a mild spicy sauce, they gave hot spicy one. I even saw them argue about it right before they handed me my order). I spent $25 to get the chicken combo soup but all the meat in there was severely
undercooked like my sausage was bright pink. I am scared that I am about to get food poisoning from it and had to throw it all way. I am so disappointed with the meal and their service today. It was totally not acceptable for the price I paid for it.

Got takeout, huge portion! Could probably split it between 2 people. I will say the medium spicy wasn't very hot, so if you're on the fence get the spicy one. I'll be back!

Great selection of items for your hotpot! The broth was spicy and tasty, the veggies and meat were fresh. The staff was helpful. We will definitely be back to try other HotPot flavors!

Really good dim sum in raleigh. Loved everything I previously ordered: shrimp dumplings, sesame balls, steamed egg custard buns, siu mai, and the spring rolls. my favorite was lotus leaf that has the rice and pork wrapped inside. SOOO GOOD.

I couldn't try any of the food at this restaurant because of poor health safety standards. The food I saw come out looked and smelled great, but the issue comes down to the self serve station and tongs.

There is one section of the self serve area that is raw meat and items that stay in wet solutions like rice cakes...Then there's a section where you can select from a variety of leafy greens and vegetables.

You get one set of tongs for the selection process...and the selection starts at the raw meat end of the bar. So tongs that have touched raw meats will then go down the line through several other containers, then touch the vegetables at the end of the row.

I brought this up to the person behind the counter but I don't think that she understood what made me no longer want the food. It's a shame because the concept and location are great, but this is a huge cross contamination situation and I'm not sure how it ever passed a health inspection. Disappointed

Be careful with this restaurant. This was the second time happened. I picked the amount of each item first to give them then when I got it, there was less of what I picked.

Can you believe it? They actually placed the printed receipt **right** in the bowl with the raw ingredients! It's absolutely outrageous. It's one thing to be careless, but putting a potentially contaminated piece of paper where the food is? That's completely unacceptable. It really makes you question the overall hygiene of the kitchen. How can anyone feel confident eating here after witnessing that? This goes beyond just poor service; it's a blatant disregard for the health and safety of customers. Honestly, it's the kind of thing that would make any customer reconsider returning.

Disappointing Experience

I had high expectations given the ambiance and price point, but unfortunately, the food was not up to par. Despite the pleasant atmosphere, the dishes lacked flavor and were definitely overpriced for the quality. It’s hard to justify the cost when the food simply isn’t enjoyable. I won’t be recommending this restaurant, and I certainly won’t be returning.
