Technically it's funguys and fungals. The beers were so good we stopped by twice. Many different styles to enjoy, the smoothie sours are the stars of the show. But everything is really good. Got to hang out with one of the owners in our second visit. She's on the wagon, currently Drinking for Two... the great new hazy.

Hidden gem brewery in Raleigh! They have some unique brews to try that are unlike any other brewery around. We tried the shakes, which were like if chocolate milk had alcohol in it - absolutely wild but good! Also tried a more traditional sour ipa, which was like if oj and beer an ipa were mixed as well as a sour smoothie beer, which was very thick but tasty. The taproom itself is small and pretty barren and sterile feeling aside from the 3 pinball machines, but that's the only real downside. It's worth it to visit to try some of their unusual concoctions!

Didn’t like one of the beers on Untappd and the brewery responded trying to correct the flavors defining how it tasted. Hard pass. Would’ve tried more, but certainly won’t now.

I always walk out of Funguys happy. They've got some off the wall stuff you won't find anywhere else in the Triangle like beer smoothies (get a small pour), and the bartenders are great, especially Carly, one of the owners. Their location is a bit weird, but if you're going for interesting beer this place is right up at the top!

Must try the smoothie beers here! Their IPAs are decent too if you prefer hoppy brews. I've tried a large range of their beers and not one of them has disappointed! The only downfall to this brewery is the location, which deserves to be more scenic.
