The best ramen in the Triangle! We recently had the chile lime beef ramen and the vegetarian ramen. Superb flavors. The broth for both is on par with the Michelin star ramen broth we’ve had in Asia. They also offer gluten-free noodles, which were delicious.

Food is normally amazing just don’t order to go, they give much smaller portions for the same price. This is about 1/3rd the amount of pork that comes on normally.

Genuinely impressed by the quality of food and service at Gen Ramen. Went in with 2 friends, we ordered the crab crispy rice and tuna crispy rice, both fantastic. We had some donburi; the teriyaki chicken, chashu pork, and eel, all three meats were perfectly cooked and flavor was great. Loved the proportions, plenty of meat and not overloaded on rice. Great meal and excited to try more food next time.

I come here specifically for their pork belly buns. I've never tasted pork belly like this. The seasoning and crispness are spot on. The taste carries over into their tonkotsu ramen with pork belly. It's indescribable. Come taste for yourself.
