One of the best ramen ever! The broth was creamy and full of flavor. Edemame with black salt really tasty. Our waiter was the best, he had the best attitude and the vest suggestions. ask for Erick when you here

I've been coming here for what seems like maybe 4 times a month. Food never disappoints, and the service is great. But I do have to say, more kid-friendly meal options would definitely help. I always have to get the full size, chicken teriyaki that's $16 in price for my toddler. Other than that it's definitely always on my go-to list.

Highly rated restaurant for a reason. The ramen has incredible flavor. We both got the tonkotsu and the broth is excellent and fully developed. It has amazing depth. We also ordered the pork bao bun just to try and I wish I ordered 4 of them!
The portion size here is so generous. 3 pieces of thick sliced pork. This will be a 'must go' every time I come to Raleigh.

Love this place. I'm picky with my Ramen, but this place is something special. The broth is flavorful and the noodles are a great texture.

We found this place looking for a good ramen restaurant before we headed back from Raleigh. Honestly, I’d recommend it to anyone. Typically when we go to a new restaurant we order a little of everything to see how the flavors are and to see if something is lacking while something else may be phenomenal. Gen Ramen does not have to worry about any dish lacking. We ordered 1 of every bun type and truly they were all very delicious and flavorful. They had excellent amount of freshness and crispness to each bite if the ingredients were supposed to have them and I could brandy order just buns and be okay. Apologies for the buns being half eaten in the photo they were so good re couldn’t resist before I was able to snap a shot.
We also got the ramen. We got the tonkatsu and the spicy ramen. I’m not a ramen hater by any means but I always prefer Pho. That being said I’d probably choose this tonkatsu over pho any day. The broth was extremely flavorful, the noodles hat the right amount of bite to them and a perfect texture. I still can’t get over the broth which I believe is advertised of being cooked for 20 hours? Delicious

We go to Gen Ramen a couple of times a month. The food is always great! I haven't had better ramen anywhere else. The sushi is also fantastic. We have never been disappointed at Gen Ramen!

I had the vegan lemongrass ramen as takeout today, and it was sooo good that I wish I had bought two! I'll definitely be back because it can be hard to find a good non-meat ramen dish.

It wasn’t a busy Sunday night. Friendly staff and they were on top of things.
The Tonkotsu ramen was exceptional, and I added chili oil which was nice. The katsu bowl had an cinnamon forward flavor, which was a bit strange, so it’s a 6/10. The Chasiu bowl was good (7/10). The poke bowl is described as “something you would get at a mall food court.” The fries were great as well.

This ramen spot is solid. I wasn't even coming here for the ramen, I was craving sushi and was told they stopped doing sushi. I was disappointed to hear that but stayed for the ramen and glad I did. Good portion, flavor and quality is on point. Service and waiter was attentive and Informative. The spicy lime chicken ramen was banging. The gyoza as well. Asked for steam and it was perfect.

I ordered the Spicy Lime Beef Ramen, and they balanced it really well! Our server was very nice and patient with us, and accommodated our younger child. As an autistic person with sensory issues, the quieter yet soft atmosphere was a lot easier on me than other restaurants. As someone with an eating disorder, it was also nice not to have calories on the menu.
Parking: The door is around the side of the building.
Kid-friendliness: Fries can be ordered if the kid will pick nothing else. Super kind staff and no dirty looks if your kiddo has the wiggles.
Wheelchair accessibility: I do not personally have a wheelchair, but am often travelling with those who use wheelchairs, so I share based on what I know of standards. The door for the entrance is around the side, going from concrete to astroturf, and has a relatively small doorway that has limited turning-in space due to pinic tables. The entrance is flat, yet chairs and tables may get in the way. 5/10 accessibility.
