New ownership and you can DEFINITELY tell! So sad! It WAS the best pizza, but no longer. Stood for 5 minutes for a man to come to counter to give me the pizza I ordered by phone. Not friendly. Pizza crust changed and so much less cheese. Just a really bad change from what I have gotten the past. Bummer!

Apparently this place was sold. I invited a few people from ny because this place was close to ny pizza. Not anymore the dough was wrong and the slices were tiny, sorry guys but you changed the pizza tooo much

Gino’s is under new management. I had been a long time customer to GIno’s Pizza on Glenwood Ave, Raleigh. Today I went in for a couple slices and it was the worst pizza I ever had. One employee asked how it was and I told him how bad it was. Almost no sauce or cheese, the most important part of the pizza. I took photos and showed the employee. He told me if you order a whole pizza, you get more sauce and cheese. I told him, it was better with the previous owner, no matter if you ordered a slice or whole pizza, the quality was the same as it should be all the time. Anyone who ordered a slice of the pizza I had today, would NEVER come back for a whole pizza so that argument made no sense. I am so disappointed as that used to be the best pizza in town. I will not be back.

This used to be our favorite place for carryout pizza. Looks like it's been sold and the new owners either do not have or are not following the original recipes. The crust and sauce were terrible. I gave them another shot and ordered from them a second time, hoping it was just a bad night. Very disappointing. It seems that the word is out because I was the only customer there for the 15 minutes I waited for them to make it.

Food was great. Manager checked in with us on the quality of our food. Served quickly.
The pizza was thin crust and delicious. We got the special: 2 slices of pizza and a drink. We also got wings. All was amazing. I highly recommend this restaurant. The atmosphere is typical pizza place, no frills.

Gotta' write this review quickly as the pizza here isn't memorable. Couldn't taste the sauce. Fairly average cheese and even though the pizza was well cooked the dough didn't have much flavor. This is one of those pizzas you cover in red pepper flakes and parmesan. Location is tucked away a bit so it's a little hard to find. I'm not leaving breadcrumbs since I won't try to find my way back here...

Delicious NY style pizza! I love the thin crispy crust style pizza and my husband loves the cheese calzone. We’ve always ordered for take out and service has been quick and friendly with orders correct.
