The food at the buffet was cold and not fresh, which was disappointing given the $40 price.

Liz at GC Tryon Rd is great! She even offered us complementary coffee which I haven’t heard since Covid! Didn’t know it still exists until she said that, what a service that she provides!
Liz keeps checking in with everyone in her area to make sure everyone has full drink and keep the table clean!

The food was excellent. A blast from the past. They have something for everyone. So many different varieties of food and dessert. The majority of the food is delicious, not everything will be better than what you make or have had. The majority will be delicious. They have plenty of places to park. The atmosphere is great. The cost are very affordable. The staff was nice. Our waitress was not very attentive but was nice. It's been years since I been to a Golden Corral. Ill definitely be back. We enjoyed it.

Well I normally don't have a bad experience at Golden corral, but I was surprised how cool and lukewarm most of the food was. I spoke to a manager about it and he said something about the food heaters resetting or something. When I went back to get seconds, a lot of the food was still cool or lukewarm. I went back to him a second time to let him know that food where the pizza and pasta is was cold ... Not sure if he believed me or not. Not to mention my steak was cold which was weird. I'm hoping that it's just a one-off night but I probably won't come back. UPDATE (after owner response): it would have felt more sincere if the 'owner response' didn't sound automated or robotic. It does appear that others in the past have mentioned this feedback as well. Hopefully some good changes can be made to check the temp on the food.

Went here to eat, at 7:20. Says they’re open until 9pm online and on door. On the door it says they will be closing at 8pm. I traveled 30 minutes after doordashing to get a meal before I went home and could barely even eat, I’m very upset and the boy who was at register wasn’t very friendly when I asked why they were closing at 8

So I came there to enjoy the afterparty for MLK children's choir celebration dinner. This place has changed a lot since I was my daughter's age. What I remembered:

There was no empty space on the bar.. I see more empty space than food. In those empty space put more different cultures: Asian, hot pots; or more Latina. There's more then tacos to experience. Pigs in a blanket are more ideas for kids/finger foods. Pizza slicers on your yeast rolls.

Your dough for yeast rolls could possibly make a hell of a pepperoni pizza. Can you put small oven in the restaurant; watch the pizza as it cooks. Family ideas that Golden Corral bring together.

I really feel the incoming crowd (folks finding tables) shouldn't mix with the crowd getting food.

Kid-friendliness: Got to keep up with them. Teach them how to serve with clean hands. And table manners please.

Came in with the whole family Sunday. Everything was hot and fresh. Our servers Sindy and I believe Liz were very attentive and friendly. Could be more of a variety of desserts but overall very delicious.
The manager Roland ever came to our table to thank us for stopping by. Would recommend!
