Before Covid it was acceptable but right now it is gross! It was never great b there was always a lot of people eating there. Not a customer in sight this time. Not the same counter staff either. It gave me the impression that the only reason they are still in business is to collect the government bailout. I won't be back.

This place has some really negative reviews but I have to say with the exception of kinda crappy Hot & Sour soup, everything I have ordered has been delicious and reasonably priced. Their Kung Pao chicken is delicious with lots of crisp veggies and a perfectly spicy but not overpowering sauce. General Chicken was equally good with giant chunks of chicken with the perfect breading to meat ratio and a balanced sauce that is addicting. The basic pork fried rice is also totally legit and flavorful, and I love they include it at no charge with a lunch or dinner combo plate. While we are on the combo plate subject, its totally the way to go value wise as they give you a huge portion whatever dish you choose instead of a bunch of rice. Skip the egg rolls. The wontons in the wonton soup are doughy and the filling is packed with flavor. Try the wonton egg drop soup for something more filling. I haven't had a bad meal from here yet and it's always consistent (I have ordered 4 times in the last month or so). Prices are fair and quality of meat/freshness of vegetables is very high. Try a combo plate at just under 9 bucks if you are hesitant. Chances are you'll be like be and feel like you discovered a new go to place that won't break the bank!

I love this place!! I've never tried anything other than the sesame chicken/ pork fried rice but that's because it's a fire meal as a college student. Comes in a nice plastic container and theres enough food for leftovers the next day. Food is always hot and ready too

I wanted some crab legs, but I couldn’t find none in the area. I decided to get some Chinese food instead. I should have read the reviews before ordering. I ordered vegetable egg foo young and house lo mein. However, I ended up canceling this order after reading the reviews. I texted the driver and told her that she could keep the food. I know she was probably mad, but she got a free meal. Hopefully she reads these reviews eating the food if she did decide to eat the food. It’s too much going on for food poisoning during this Covid-19 pandemic.The reviews of this food made my stomach turn, especially the 1 star review from the person that got food poisoning. It was the food poisoning review for me. No thank you. I have not found a good Chinese restaurant in Raleigh yet. I lived in South Carolina and found two places there I liked for egg foo young and lo mein. Too bad Chinese restaurants vary from place to place.I don’t believe this food is fresh made to order. Some reviews said the food came out fast or that the food was bland. After I placed my order it was ready within 10 minutes. I worked in restaurants before including a Chinese restaurant. Chinese restaurants have food sitting around pre-cooked. Thats why it comes out fast and bland. They are not interested in serving you quality food. They are only interested in making money as fast as possible.There are horrible reviews of their chicken. I have stopped eating chicken and shrimp because chicken is disgusting and shrimp is too crunchy. When I eat chicken pot pies or chicken cup noodles I leave the chicken. Chicken lovers might want to stop ordering chicken at Chinese restaurants, you don’t know what it really is.

Just say no. I don’t know about the quality of the food because the GrubHub delivery person literally refused to drive up our driveway. She demanded I drive down to the street and meet her (this is a VERY safe neighborhood). I did so, but she had left and went home taking the food with her. Not the restaurant’s fault, but since they use this delivery service (and seem powerless to fix problems), I will NEVER order from them again and especially NEVER use GrubHub, who cancelled the order saying the driver had an emergency (a blatant lie) and will refund the charge to my credit card within 7-10 days (really?). Tried to complain to GrubHub and got a canned reply. Do yourself a favor and avoid both the restaurant and GrubHub.
