I ordered a large oxtail, vegetable rice and plantains. What I received was a spoonful of tiny oxtails about the size of my pinky finger and spinach rice that tasted sour and 2 large plantains that were lightly cooked. I was so disappointed that for that I paid $42.00 because it was delivered. I received it as promised and I time and the food was barely warm. I would never ever go to this food establishment again. I want a refund! So beware.

Place has a lot of potential but my most recent visit the food was not good for the price you pay for it you expect good food. Hopefully in the future can go back and get better food!

Everytime I go to GA, I go to Golden Krust. I did not know there was one in Raleigh,NC. Myself and a friend ended up in Raleigh after a long day of shopping we were hungry. I searched for food near me and I was pleasantly surprised when Golden Krust popped up. It was only 6 minutes from my location. Needless to say 6 minutes later we were placing our order. The food was delicious as usual. I love me some Golden Krust.

I came here on a whim needing a quick dinner for my husband and I. He was surprised there was a golden krust in NC being that he’s from NY. I ordered a large brown stew sub the cabbage for extra rice and peas my husband got the large curry chicken plate and beef patties with coco bread. My brown stew was good it was spicy even though the man said it wasn’t. Most Jamaican restaurants use their jerk chicken to make the brown stew so that’s why it was spicy I could taste the jerk marinade in the skin and bones. The curry was spicy as it should be and flavorful. The cabbage was vey bland the patties were delicious and the coco bread was nice and soft. Their food is authentic just a lil watered down to cater to the American pallet and those who can’t eat too spicy. They were very kind and patient. The restaurant was very clean and quiet I wouldn’t mind going back and sitting down to eat when I’m in the Raleigh area

The food is plentiful and delic. The service and atmosphere not so much. But if you want some amazing curry goat/ oxtails/ Pattie’s/ coco bread-
It’s still worth it.

Haven’t been to a Crusty in years and will probably not again in a few more. The was excellent, The entree was good. Gave 3 because the 5.50 slice Carrot Cake tasted was old, dry. I should have looked at it closer before buying.

Go to any other location or to any other Jamaican restaurant. They skimp on the portions here (e.g. 1 slice of plantain per box). Food is bland. Cabbage is bitter. Not worth the amount of money.
