Well, I hate to leave a not so good review, but I am. It’s very dark as usual, but really. Heavy medal versus Spanish music?? And ridiculously loud. The food was ok. Shrimp Fajitas. One person got the bowl with chicken and tortilla strips and its layered with strips. Not very good she said. Lastly, someone should be in charge of the restrooms as crowded as the restaurant gets. Not very nice. The young servers try so hard, but if you need something from the bar, it takes awhile. All in all, not as good as in the past.

The food is good but not the best I've had. The drinks are the main attraction. They're some of the better I've had outside of dedicated cocktail bars. Service was very quick but no fluff.

This was my first time at this location. The steak tacos were smaller than expected but ended up being the perfect size. The steak had so much flavor and was delicious. I had a side of lime rice which came out more green than I expected but the taste was good. The staff was friendly but the service was slower than I would have liked. Overall the food was great and I would eat here again.

This is a very fun place. The service is excellent, as is the food. The extensive decor is interesting and colorful, imparting a great atmosphere.

Music is a bit loud and very dark inside. Had to request another table light. Food and service was fabulous!

Gonza is the Best Mexican in Raleigh by far! We have been going for 8 years and the consistent quality hasn't let us down yet.

The food, service and the energy at Gonza keep us coming back over and over again. Super casual venue where families with babies/small children, and dogs (on the patio) are welcome. The food and service are consistently excellent. The chicken tinga tacos are are my favorite. I've tried making them at home, and mine aren't nearly as good.

Another great evening at Gonza! If you're offered the Special cocktail, something like a Blackberry Spritz, try it! It's an excellent margarita with addition of blackberry fruit compote and a little seltzer to fizz it up some. It was truly delicious and refreshing! We have standbys we love, such as the Mexican Flag Enchiladas or the Mole Enchiladas, the Fajitas Camaron and the Tacos de Pescado, but always one our minds to the Tacos del Chef, which might be anything, but is always delicious!

Our favorite place to eat! Awesome margaritas and great food. Get the queso - it's worth the calories 😀
