Goodberry's Frozen Custard

Visited this location 30 minutes before they closed on a Saturday. They had people at the window being handed their orders while we waited in the line. When the orders in front of us were given out we approached and were told they were closed. I responded “oh we thought you closed at 11.” She looked at her colleague with an expression of annoyance. She said “we do but we’re out of pretty much everything.” While I understand that can happen, the issue is the approach. She did not ask what we intended to purchase before telling us they were closed. It may have been likely we could have ordered something they did indeed have. At that point I was very off put with their lack of customer service and the obvious reluctance to fill another order. I reached out to the company and was asked to give my information for someone to reach out. Several weeks later and they have still not reached out. I could have forgiven a lack of customer service by employees because that’s not always controllable, but the company’s lack of response sends a clear message that type of customer service must be acceptable.

Hands down, the best frozen custard we’ve had in Raleigh! This location has a charming, old-fashioned vibe with plenty of seating to sit back, enjoy a good ice cream, and have a great time. 🍧

Also, don’t sleep on their Banana Split—absolutely amazing! 🍨

Can never go with ice cream from here

if you love bagged mix you will love the soupy custard here. i wouldn't purchase any pints here they tend to change labels to sell expire desserts sometimes they forget. lots of nasty attitudes when their only mixing and topping desserts. its not rocket science its easy and max shift is 6 hours if not an extra 30 minutes. flies and fruit flies are always on the topping bar. i would steer away from the Carmel or any butterscotch most the time its moldy. they tend to stare down customers rudely. the whole shopping center needs a change including this. only a hand pick few of employees there are awesome their either the young Hispanic kids or the old guy also the new manager seems better than the last and needs to change her assistant managers and staff

Excellent! Servers are always polite and kind. The ice cream is excellent! Real, old fashioned, authentic.
Shout out to our server Andrew. Working hard when we walked up to the window, but immediately acknowledged us and took care of us quickly and seemed genuinely kind and cheerful.

The new manager over the store doesnt do anything and just walks around

This is the absolute best place in the town of garner nc with homemade ice cream. Go check them out will not be disappointed
